Chapter 109 - "SHATTERED MOMENTS, SILENT GAZE"

Abhi; (The sudden knock on the door shattered the moment. I was holding her feet, and before I could even comprehend what was happening, she kicked me away, her body jerking upright as if to erase the intimacy of the moment. It felt like we were caught in something unspeakable, something wrong. I stumbled, my hands scrambling for balance, and before I could regain my composure, I fell hard onto the cold, unforgiving floor.

And then, as if the universe had a cruel sense of timing, the nurse entered. Her eyes flicked from me—lying there, sprawled and defeated—to her, standing stiff, face flushed, caught between surprise and something else. The air between us thickened with unspoken tension. Time seemed to slow, my heart pounding in my chest like a drumbeat, each thud louder than the last.

The nurse paused at the door, glancing at us with a look that bordered between concern and confusion. I could barely look her in the eye, my mind racing to make sense of everything—the awkwardness, the distance growing between us, the strange turn of events that left no room for explanations.)

Nurse; sir are you okay! Should i help you?

( i rush towards him)

Abhi; yeh, I'm okay .... I just lost balance..

Since you are here apply this ointment on her .

Nurse; sure!

Ishana; its fine i can do it myself no worries.

Abhi; fine since you can do it on your own, do it I'll be waiting out ....

Ishana; hmm..

( He left after telling me he'd wait outside with the nurse. I then applied the ointment carefully, making sure it was properly absorbed. After finishing, I stepped out of the room and made my way toward the parking lot. As I walked out, I saw Abhi standing in front of the car, waiting for me. The cool breeze was rustling the leaves nearby, and the faint hum of traffic echoed in the background, adding to the quiet moment.)

Abhi; (As I saw her walking towards me, my eyes couldn't help but follow her every step. She was draped in a beautiful black saree that clung to her curves, the fabric flowing gracefully, revealing the delicate curve of her waist. The soft breeze made her open hair sway with a natural elegance, adding a touch of effortless beauty to her already captivating presence. She walked with such poise, her every movement graceful, as if the world had slowed just for her. One hand gently held her saree in place, ensuring it wouldn't get caught, while the other softly brushed her hair away from her face. Her smile, so warm and inviting, seemed to light up everything around her. I stood there, almost mesmerized by the sight of her, utterly lost in the moment. Uhhh, she looked so unbelievably perfect.)

Ishana; (As I walked towards Abhi, I couldn't help but notice how his gaze was fixed on me, unwavering and intense, as if nothing else in the world mattered. His eyes didn't blink, never breaking contact, scanning me from head to toe in a way that made me feel both self-conscious and captivated. I tried to look away, to break the tension, but there was something in the way he stared that kept drawing me in. What was he thinking? The air around us seemed charged, heavy with unspoken thoughts. As I finally walked right in front of him, I could feel his presence almost overwhelming, and I couldn't decide if it was his gaze that held me captive or something deeper.)

Abhi!!!

Abhi!!!!!!!

Abhi; huh?!

What?

Ishana; let's go!

Abhi; ohh yes, hope in.

Ishana; (I got into the car, and soon enough, we arrived at our house. As I walked toward the entrance, I noticed everyone sitting in the drawing room, waiting for us. The sight made my heart skip a beat. It wasn't just their presence that caught my attention—it was the memory of that photo, the one of Abhi and me, the one with the kiss. The thought of it made me freeze for a moment. How was I supposed to walk in there, knowing what they might be thinking? The unease began to rise, and I couldn't shake the thought of what might happen if they saw it.

I quickly turned back and walked toward the parking lot, where I saw Abhi finishing up with the car. I paused, waiting for him to join me, not quite ready to face what lay ahead without him by my side.)

Abhi; (She got into the car, and before long, we reached home. I asked her to go ahead while I parked the car, planning to join her shortly. I was almost done parking when I noticed her walking back towards me. What was going on? Why hadn't she gone inside? Was she waiting for me? It seemed like it, but why? The uncertainty hung in the air as I finished parking and stepped out of the car, walking toward her. As I got closer, I couldn't help but wonder what was on her mind.)

"Why didn't you go in? Can't bear to leave me for even a second? I didn't know you were this crazy about me..."

Ishana;"Shut up, Abhi! "It's not funny. Don't you remember the photo in the group chat? And on top of that, everyone's sitting in the drawing room, waiting for us. How am I supposed to walk in there, knowing what they might be thinking?"

Abhi; (She ran a hand through her hair, her anxiety clear as she glanced back at the house. The tension in the air was palpable, and I could see the discomfort in her eyes. Her nerves were getting the best of her, and I couldn't help but feel a little guilty for making light of the situation.)

Ohh , so you want me to be shameless and walk in front of them.

Ishana; yes!!

Abhi;( She nodded her head in agreement when I asked her, and I swear—the way she did it, so effortlessly sweet—it almost made me forget what I was saying. Ugh, she's just too cute. I caught myself thinking, I could honestly be so shameless for you.")
