Flying up to Guru's house, we land just outside and walk through the front door. Upon entering his house, we were met with the sight of the old Namekian smiling down at us.
"Welcome back, Zyleth. I see that you were successful in bringing your friend back to life." He said, shifting his gaze towards Lila as she walked up behind me. "Greetings, I am Grand Elder Guru."
Lila nodded her head, returning his kind smile before politely introducing herself, "I'm Lila, is very nice to meet you, sir."
"We just wanted to thank you for allowing me to use your Dragon Balls." I told him, bowing my head towards him in appreciation.
Lila glanced at me for a brief second before nodding, stepping up beside me, and bowing her head towards him as well.
"Yes. Thank you so much for your kindness, Grand Elder Guru." She says with gratitude.
"And I'm sorry for the display outside. I'm sure you probably felt my energy surging from here." I said, apologizing for causing a huge commotion just outside his door.
Honestly, it probably wasn't just him. The whole planet probably thought that they were going through some sort of apocalyptic crisis.
"Yes, I did indeed. I was wondering why you suddenly released your power. Did something happen?" He asked, his face shifting to that of slight concern.
"No, Grand Elder, it was nothing. Lila was just a little disoriented from her revival and gone to attack me, so I had to respond." I told him, glancing at Lila with a pointed stare, wanting her to corroborate my story.
She turns to look at me with a small bit of confusion before suddenly catching on and quickly nodding her head, "Yes, it's as he said. The sudden change made me a bit nervous. I'm sorry for any trouble that I caused."
"Please, think nothing of out." Guru says, his concerned expression lifting from his face immediately. "Your reaction was understandable. I'm just happy that our Dragon Balls have aided you both, young ones."
"Well, actually I'm over--"
Before Lila could tear down my house of cards, I immediately stomp on her foot, getting her to shut up before she could utter anything about her true age.
"Overjoyed at having been given a second chance!" I said, quickly finishing her sentence for her. "Just look at her! She's moved to tears!"
I wasn't lying.
There were tears in her eyes.
Most likely because I didn't hold back in that stomp I gave her.
"Yes... So overjoyed..." She struggled to say through the pain.
Sorry, Lila, but I can't have Guru having any suspicions about anything, no matter how small they might be. This castle was built on a foundation of lies and I will not have you be the wind that topples it over.
Guru looks between us with a strange expression for a moment before nodding along with a smile.
"But there is one thing I would like to consult with you." I suddenly said, gaining his attention.
"And what would that be, young Zyleth?" He asked, curiosity filled his tone.
"For one of my wishes, I asked for the technique to create my own Dragon Balls." I told him before quickly adding, "I figured that if I needed them again, it would be better if I had a set of my own."
"You do not need to explain. Your wishes are yours to make. They are not mine to question." He responds, unexpectedly having absolutely no problems with my wish.
This guy is so damn generous and kind hearted that he really makes me feel the guilt behind my lies just piling on and on the more this facade goes on.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna stop now, but Jesus Christ, can you stop making me feel like an absolute piece of shit?
"Thank you, I'm relieved to know that you approve. But there's just one thing that I don't seem to understand with the information Porunga provided me on the subject." I told him.
"What is it?" He asks.
"The model of the dragon. I'm supposed to create a model of the dragon I want to summon from the Dragon Balls, yes?" I asked.
"That is correct." He nods.
"Is there a process I need use in order to create this statue? Is there some type of special stone I need to use? Do I need to create it by hand?" I asked.
The process of creating the Dragon Balls was petty clear, but the information on how to actually create the model and the actual dragon was anything but.
All I know is that I need to create a model and "breathe life into the dragon".
What does that mean? I have no fucking idea.
"Ideally, the members of our Dragon Clan would sculpt a model of a dragon by hand along with the seven spheres, taking many weeks to complete this. But I'm afraid that even with the knowledge of their creation, it will be useless to you." He responds, sounding a little downtrodden as he said this. "Only a very special few are gifted with the ability to breathe life into stone."
Wait... That's it...?
I just have to simply make it? Can't I just use Kekkai to do that?
"And what exactly is this ability?" I asked, thinking that there had to be something else involved.
"The power to create something from that of nothing." He answers.
"You mean magic materialization?" I asked.
When there wasn't anything more on the dragon model, I thought for sure that the process would be more convoluted and time consuming than that. Apparently not. Porunga gave me everything I needed, I just didn't think making an almighty, wish-granting dragon that inhabits magic orbs would actually be that simple.
"That makes this so much easier..." I muttered to myself.
Without any more hold ups, I held out my hand towards the middle of the floor and visualized how I wanted my dragon to look like.
I had pondered about this for a little while when I was waiting for Stropo and debating over my wishes. The image I had in my mind was as clear as day, and I created the model of the dragon that I wanted without any issues.
Laying on the floor in front of us was a decently sized stone model of a long dragon with two sets of mouths, filled with razor sharp teeth. Yup, I modeled my dragon after the next most recognizable dragon in anime besides Shenron.
Slifer, the Sky Dragon.
Or Osiris, if you want to be special.
Upon seeing the stone dragon statue appear before them, both Lila and Guru's eyes almost popped out of their skulls.
"Extraordinary..." Guru muttered in awe under his breath. "I've never heard of a Saiyan possessing the ability of our people..."
"That's... impossible..." Lila whispered, looking at model in utter disbelief. "How are you... That's impossible..."
"And yet entirely possible..." Guru replied, looking on with awe.
I knew why Guru was in awe. Pretty sure he thought no one besides Namekians could use Kekkai. But with Lila, it's definitely the same reason, but I'm almost sure that he mind is running a mile a minute trying to figure out why.
I pick up the model of Slifer and give the Grand Elder a nod of appreciation.
"Thank you for the instruction, Grand Elder, I believe that I can handle the rest from here." I said to him, giving him my thanks.
"I see, then I suppose this is where we part ways, young Zyleth." He says, nodding back at me. "Farewell, young ones. I hope for a safe journey for you both."
Lila snaps out of her shock and says, "Farewell, Grand Elder" before bowing her head once more.
"Farewell." I said, giving him a one-handed salute.
We exit his house, giving our farewell to Stropo as we passed by and hopped down to ground level. As we landed, Lila looked around at our surroundings before her face grew a complicated expression.
"So... Where are we headed... exactly?" She asked, looking around in every direction. "Are there... any landmarks...? How can anyone find their way around this place?"
Thank you!
I turn towards her, feeling a surge of vindication, before holding out my hand towards her, which causes her to look at me with a raised eyebrow.
"What?" She asks.
"Grab my hand, obviously." I rolled my eyes.
She looks at me incredulously, glancing down at my hand. I swear that I see her cheeks glow the slightest hint of red as she quickly grabs onto my hand.
Did I need to take her hand to teleport us?
No.
No, i didn't.
I just can't have her thinking that I had Kai Kai.
Speaking of, using Kai Kai, I immediately teleport us back to my ship, causing Lila to look around in shock.
"What the-- How did you--"
"Before wishing to resurrect you, I wished for the dragon to give me the ability to teleport wherever I wished." I lied to her.
It was a better explanation than somehow explaining to a Supreme Kai why I have Kai Kai. She didn't know how many wishes the dragon could make, so it's a convincing enough lie for the time being.
I just got to be careful with how much I use that particular explanation...
"I see..." She mutters, still a bit shocked at our sudden change of location.
I look down, an amused look coming on my face as I tell her, "You can let go of my hand now."
"Huh?" She turns back to me and looks down seeing that she was still holding onto my hand pretty tightly.
She quickly released her grip and muttered a soft, "S-Sorry..."
"Don't be. It was quite pleasant." I said as I walked into my ship.
"What?!" She exclaimed, her face bright red.
I shake my head at how easy it was to embarrass her, chuckling a bit at her reaction.
Flirting with anime women is so much fun.
"You comin' or what?" I asked, wanting to get this show on the road.
She quickly shakes off her blush and rushes inside the ship.
Upon entering, she looks around the ship's interior before a flight suddenly struck her and she asks, "Wait, I don't understand. Why are we going to use a ship if you can just teleport us?"
"First of all, I'm teleporting us with the ship. Second, it's a ship and it's mine!" I exclaim.
Her face shifts, looking at me with a confused expression as I knelt down on the floor and placed my hands on the floor of the ship.
"You might want to hold onto something." I tell her.
Hearing me, she quickly latched herself onto a wall and I chuckle again at how fast she had rushed to do so.
Man, I'm going to have a field day with her around.
