After leaving the ruins, the first thing that we had to do was report back to the Democratic Union group.
Even if we didn't want to, it wasn't as if it was possible for us to avoid them since they had completely locked down the area. We could try leaving with the wyverns, but they would certainly be able to spot us.
Not to mention that we were here on a diplomatic mission in the first place.
Just leaving without saying anything definitely wouldn't be a good thing to do.
