Chapter 35 - Chapter 4 Episode 32

So many options yet." Watching the frenzy below Tecto shook his head. "It seems that not one of those SouBei maintained their consciousness. To make matters worse. They only further spread the infection." Descending to the ground he said, "I need to do a further investigation." Releasing an electrical field The Terrehex began scanning the entire village. "It seems that a multitude is converging at one point. I wonder why?"

Hmmmm, inhaling the blood, fear, hate and every other disturbing emotion in the air which set sparks to his nerves Tecto lowered his head. "I am the cause of this massacre. I will accept that. I will never right this and my path remains the same." Shedding a tear for the souls tooch, tooch sparks of electricity began to reach out like tree branches, climbing from the ground and up into the atmosphere. Releasing a second electrical field booom, boom, boom boom, bolts of lightning rang from the skies striking down all straggler Soubei which had not met their destination. "Now on to my next mission."

"Where did he go?" asked a young lady draped in purple and dark green garments to no one in particular. "He stood in this location then poof." Throwing her hands up in frustration the grey haired teen kicked the tree next to her. Pishhhhh. "What the?" Covering her mouth and nose the teen leg flew up as the piece of land stood up revealing its true nature.

Catching a glimpse of the Quintessence shell along with other unexpected creatures plummeting to their doom the teen began to recite an incantation. "From the darkness let your light bear for eternity we share from the depth I declare Cami The Chi rise."

"It is a pleasure Ley Alma of Tajir." said a vanilla coated beauty materializing in thin air and snatching her Tefla out of the air. "What are your wishes?" Bink blocking jagged claws with one of her swords Cami used the momentum of the blow to send them rocketing into the air. "Hold on Tefla." Sprouting dragon wings The Chi body began to transfigure.

"She's a necromancer?" bobbing his head everything began to make sense.. "That might explains her interest in my being." Covering his face from the bright light of an explosion, JunBee then continued to spectate. "Then again." picturing his last words with Commander Gonal he thought. "How do I know if he didn't send her to spy on me. I might've helped save the citizens of Tajir but he doesn't owe me anything even if he put his word to leave me in peace until next we meet. It is all just words."

Dink, Dink "Curses, Its scales are so thick we can't penetrate them." running around one of the Quints giant feet Ley Alma head shot up at Cami creating a giant blazing sphere of energy. If i can't cut him down then I can." Placing her hands together Ley Alma began her incantations. "For those who rest in the depths in wait of their return I summon you. Give me your energy…" recognizing the familiar chill enveloping her body, Ley focus and intent went to her magic. "...bind this giant's legs in earth!" Do, doo, doooo. Starting off with a slight rumble the earth then stretched its arms grasping hold to the Quintessence feet up to the bottom of its calf.

Rawwwhn unleashing a trembling roar from the unexpected grasp of the Earth and the pull of gravity from its lack of balance the quint found itself hurtling towards the ground. "Mira's Blaze." shouted Cami with a fell swoop out of the skies and a shove of her car size ball of energy into the Quintessence face.

"If that beast was only a city" whispered JunBee. "Then she may have been victorious."

"Leave!"

Sliding backwards in surprise at the command of the Quintessence, tooft, tooft, tooft, the sound of football size pinecones whizzing pass both her head and the flaming barrier built by the blasts explosion hit Cami ears causing her to withdraw her twin blades to deflect the incoming missiles while dodging in between the rest.

Staring at the flaming sphere hanging in the sky below him, JunBee began to slide backwards in the air as a sense of death began to make the hairs on his body stand. Haaaam, a vacuum-like sound split the air and the ball of flames commenced to twirl around in a serpent manner. Spectating until the last of the fire was gone the SouBei eyes grit his teeth."

"It swallowed my attack." Cami whispered out in disbelief.

"That's not a quintessence." thought JunBee as a sense of imminent danger swam over him. "I have to…" Taking deep breaths, to control his sympathetic system, JunBee found it hard to take his eyes off the now blazing tribal-like marks etching their way from the quintessence elephant head, down its now humanoid body. "I'm sorry but."

"You" shouted Ley Alma with a step back of surprise. "Where? What?" Taking a glance at JunBee hands resting on her shoulder, woom, in a gut curling experience Ley found herself standing in an empty room. "What did you do?"

" If you were to continue your battle." exclaimed JunBee. "You would have died."

"Where are we?" asked the Sorcerer.

 "In Tajir."

"What!" Tossing her head in all directions Ley Alma voice fell to a whisper. "I shouldn't be here." Pacing back and forth Ley began to tug at her hair. "No, no, no."

 "Are you okay?" asked JunBee.

"No! You brought me back to my homeland when I just commenced my trials." Rubbing her hands through her head frantically Ley began to talk to herself. "Maybe the magic isn't in effect right now." Yanking her head back Ley Alma asked. "If you brought us here, does that mean you can send us somewhere else."

 "Correct."

"Then I have to go! If my essence is detected I will be exiled." Grabbing hold of JunBee's arms and shaking him, Ley told him. "You have to get me out of this city's limit abruptly."

"I too share concerns of remaining in this location but I must recharge. This transport required a lot of energy." Wobbling with a yawn, JunBee told her. "Allow me to take a brief nap for I need to distance myself from this City of Magic as well before detection."

Woosh, woosh. "It's time to…" glup, glup "...party…" glup, glup "...whoops, my whiskey." Woosh , woosh rocking back and forth in the air, the Hare-like being zoomed in on his bottle. Woosh, with another beat of his giant wings, woosh, the Chisapho took off in an arc then went for a dive, snatching his beverage out of the air. "Gulp can't be losing this."

Landing softly, silently, and stealthily on a branch "Hmm" the Chisapho ears began to rotate. Turning his head where the moon could reflect off his antelope antlers fawoosh the humanoid wings shot out. "Something rests within our territory. I must warn the others."

"We're surrounded?" though Flammel, floating next to a hare-headed being with wings on its arms. "Kasha what should I do?"

"I suggest the commencement of using your own mind. It will make you stronger, sharper, and more creative." spoke Kasha, Flammel's consciousness. True power comes from one's own disciplines. Not through automatic behaviours."

"I understand. I have established the basics of my abilities and have scenarios built in my mind. Okay then." Swooshing through the heaven's The Herald thought. "It's time to re-enter my body. Kasha how long before my Progen awakens."

 "Six Hours."

"I am grateful that I endure no exhaustion and my body is indestructible. Most importantly astral projection for " Grunting in annoyance, The Herald fled in preparation of the oncoming army.

"Warning. Intentions shall be only to leave the Chisapho in an unconscious state. Marmor Capeers are known to own vast lands and are very territorial though thousands and possibly millions may co-exist."

"How many would you say are in this vicinity?"

"There are a few hundred." replied Kasha.

"How many Ki Muhari am I able to manifest?"

"You are able to summon sixty-four of your undead warriors."

"Okay." diving back in his body Flammel skeletal figure began to animate. "I have an idea." Summoning sixty-four Dyspon, The Herald's head shifted upon their materialization.

"What's going on?" Asked one of the warriors.

"Where are we?" spoke another taking in the same confusion as the rest.

"It seems that all of them have retained their consciousness. Will this not be a risk?"

"If you are suggesting treachery or traitorous acts then you have no qualms for all Ki Muhari are under your control. They are unable to harm their master no matter how strong they become in battle."

Bobbing his head taking in this belief as well Kim Flammel tapped on his fleshless jaw with bony fingers. "I wonder." Releasing a thought doosh the entire army fell into line facing him. Smiling with intrigue The Heralds eye-less sockets grew like that of black hole.

"What's your request Yueqin?" Asked one the higher level Dyspon with a bow.

Studying the Ki Muhari along with the other warriors, Kim Flammel took note of their every being and the radiant streams of light connecting them all together like a spider web. "You are no longer one amongst the living but are connected to my very being and have become one with all that I am. This change has altered your very dna you Dyspon's are no longer Dyspon's for you share a new hive and master. From now on you will be called Pteralins and you will take part as Ki Muhari my undead warriors."

"You have brought us here for battle." One spoke with extreme excitement. "You are saying even death we are able to gain strength, experience, and wisdom."

"Correct. You will also be able to reap the benefits of being undead. You will never know exhaustion or death in battle unless one is strong enough to return you to energy; you will only continue to arise in battle until victory is ours."

 "Yaaaaaa" cheered the Pteralin's.

"We have kept both our minds and bodies except for the transfiguration of our cybernetic shell to that of bones but…" Shifting his arms into different shapes and weapons the Ki Muhari grinned malevolently. "It seems that we are able to manipulate this bone armor with more grace." Standing up the Pteralin turnt to his fellow warriors. "We have been giving a second chance. Let's show our Yuequin what who we are." Returning their clicks with their mandibles the Muhari shifted their attention to their master.
