Han Chengchi finished speaking, cast a mocking glance at Su Jiaojiao, then turned and walked out of the security room. The door closed behind him with a deafening bang.
When Han Chengchi came out, Gu Enen and Gu Lanshan were waiting for him with differing expressions.
Han Chengchi, looking displeased, took Gu Enen's hand and said, "Let's go."
Gu Lanshan uttered an "oh" and, without saying anything else, walked ahead of Han Chengchi and Gu Enen with her high heels clicking on the ground.
None of them spoke as they silently made their way to the tea restaurant's parking lot. When they passed by Gu Lanshan's car, she stopped and casually said, "Sis, Brother Chengchi, I'm heading home first!"
Han Chengchi seemed less angry now but still wore a somewhat cold expression. Hearing Gu Lanshan's words, he nodded. Yet, as Gu Lanshan opened her car door, he couldn't help calling out to her with a hint of worry.
