Kuta's father sighed as he process all the information that he had learned about his daugther, everything that she was, and now everything that she was not
'What's another decade or more. Starting again should not be that hard. Finding and/or raising another heir to keep the family name where it always has been in the end should not be that hard' he thought.
Scanning over various files and documents that were laying on his desk within his study. A place that weapon user like him would normally not be however as the member of the Sabre family with the rights to use the family name. There were many times where he was required do things that went beyond just wielding his weapon for whatever reasoning he had do to so. Training, combat, defending his right to the family name etc those were things all weapon users of his standing did but there was more to it then that at least for him.
He noticed somethings that he was looking over when he was looking for someone that could be a good training parnter and/or rival for Kuta going forward.
"Fascinating" the man said
Looking very pleased with what he had managed to find from the what was originally done for a completely different purpose yet now could solve the main problem that arose with Kuta being discovered to be a mage rather then a weapon user instead.
"Who would have thought the answers would be right before me all this time. The founder has not abadonned their family just yet" he said laughing loudly at his discovery
Thus Kuta's father went about gathering the various family members that lived with them at the esteemed Sabre manor that housed generation of Sabre family members within it walls. Though ther was various talks amongst them about the discover of Kuta's status as a mage.
"You are doing something about this right" a family member demanded
"What if someone comes after the family name as we have managed to keep in within the family for this long. What would it look it if we truly lost it because of your actions" another said.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I assure you that my daughter is everything she is claimed to be and even more possibly" her father stated gesturing to the folders that they had in front of them as they all came to this meeting at his request.
"We all know that your daughter is a mage somehow so why do this obvious lie. We need to find some way to deal with this" a third family member exclaimed.
"Why not take a look at what contained with the folders you have all been given as that includes the proof that my daughter is truly a swordmaster worthy of her title and status" he said
Upon opening the folder all the gather family members were shocked to see the file of a girl that look exactly like Kuta did before her most recent birthday and everything that came along with that. A girl that was not just her look alike but more so a doppelganger in every sense of the word from the looks of things. It was not just the girl's look either that were similar to Kuta's original ones. The potiential and talent was the seemingly the same as well with natural born version of what the original Kuta had to actually work at to refine to the level it was at now.
"From now on this girl is my daughter Kuta Sabre as she had already been acquired and argeed to the deal laid out before her" Kuta's father stated.
"What of the original Kuta as what will we do with her now that she has been replaced" the first family member asked
"Tha girl is to be stripped of her title as a swordmaster on various grounds that she has broken the rules. Thus banished from not just the manor by the family as well" he declared to them all.
"True as we have no need for her now that we have got the real deal of what she should have been this entire time. In fact what if they had somehow been switched at birth and we are just correcting that wrong that made back then" the second family member said
"What about her title of Spellblade though. The old one did earn her title the same as the rest of us despite her age. Are you not going to need to give her a new one going forward" a fourth family member stated
"That is true luckily we have kept her within the confines of what is our direct sphere of influence. She has not been introduced to the large world just yet at least not fully. So we can use that to our advantange and swappoing the unwanted one with my daughter" the head of the Sabre family said
And so this was how Kuta had her entire life taken from her by her own family that replaced her with another girl that they discovered was an actual weapon user that had all the abilities and skills she did but more naturally and was an acutal bone fide weapon user at that too. So this would be how she lost her original name and family to just become a girl named Kuta. While someone that was basically her doppelganger assume her original life and name become Kuta Sabre herself
With such a thing being even possible in the first place because everyone in her family were the only ones that knew what she actually looked like. Thus with her doppelganger taking her place they never reveal the truth about her as they are the only ones that know. The doppelganger is not telling anyone with the original unable to prove her claim that she is...or more like was the original Kuta Sabre that had been replaced. This was mostly because of how she looks now and her status as a mage. Also while her appearance was not well known to the general public her name and basic info were minus her being called Spellblade outside her family though.
