Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

A/N: I had noticed a few issues in the chapter, mainly the lack of paragraphs and the visible commands like
and stuff due to, I believe, the webnovel update. I have fixed those issues so that the chapter can be more enjoyable. Thank you in advance for reading this work.

Blood of Zeus was an interesting series if you asked me. Though the creators did not seem to know the true definition of immortality, they managed to produce an interesting storyline.

From the first minor squabbles and arguments that have fanned the flames of hatred and resentment that caused, in turn, the final battle between the gods and Giants and, of course, the death of Zeus.

I believed that he had gotten what he asked for though, after consistently cheating and dishonouring his wife Hera by sleeping with women that were 'below her'.

I had just completed the last episode of the series in anticipation of a new season and was going to sleep.

the next day, while waking up for my early morning necessities, I was surprised to find myself in a void, or should I call it; the vacuum of space.

'What? Where am I? Am I actually in space?' I questioned myself, confused by my predicament.

"You are currently in my domain," I heard coming from an ominous voice originating from all directions.

Looking around, I saw a tall being who seemed to be composed of the fabric of the universe, with galaxies and other astronomical entities littering his entire body.

I frowned, confused. "Who are you? can you read my mind?"

"Indeed, mortal," the entity or whatever he was responded."Why am I here? Do you want something from me?" I asked the seemingly divine being, bewildered by my current situation.

"I summoned your soul because I wanted to give you a choice; you could either stay dead or come back to life in a new body, within a new world in which there will be plenty of new opportunities," it offered me.

"C-Can I ask why you're offering me this opportunity," I inquired.

"Well, I was bored to death and I sought entertainment so I thought, why not?" it justified."O-oh, okay, I see. So where will I go," was the question I asked after finally accepting my situation.

"I take it that this means you are ready to accept my offer?" the entity assumed.

"I'm pretty sure I am, I just hope there are no nasty implications."

"Good, you'll go to a world you know very well. In fact, it's based on the last series you watched before going to sleep and, eventually, passing away," it explained.

"You mean I'm going to the world of 'Blood of Zeus'," I questioned, disbelief in my eyes. It was a dangerous world after all, especially since I had no lovey-dovey lightning deity to take care of my butt.

"Precisely,."

Besides that, depending on who or what I might be, I could attract the unwanted attention of other parties like the demons, ordinary humans and giants (I didn't need to worry about the giants too much though since their souls were sealed.)

"I-I don't mean any disrespect and I'm grateful for the chance at a new life you're giving me. But how will I survive in the place you're sending me to."

"Do not fret, here is a map containing six different locations, each one having a specific stone and each stone constituting a fragment of the power of the old entity you once were in that world."

He continued, "Of course, to aid you in your task of regaining your 'former' strength you will be granted the peak of natural human strength, agility and finally, as the ultimate assistance: the memories of your past life." the divinity finally announced.

"However, all this will come at a cost. You will need to take control of Olympus and the domains of the gods within ten years. After which, if you fail your mission, you will be stripped of your power and tortured for the rest of Eternity," he announced in an ominous tone.

"Can't I simply go back to being dead," I asked it. Being condemned to Eternal suffering was a cruel fate I did not wish to meet after all.

I would have had an easier time simply avoiding that future, but fate had other plans.

"It is too late to retract your agreement to our contract. Since you have already taken me up on my offer, it is now up to you to fulfil your part of the deal unless you wish to start agonizing immediately." the deity threatened.

"I-I will, of course don't worry," I stammered. "Good, farewell for now," Was the last thing I heard before-*woosh*
