Chapter 575 - Chapter 575: Mountains, Azure Waves, and Starshine

Ancient mountains trembled, revealing deep, gaping fissures. Birds and beasts fled in a frenzy, driven by an ancient and vast aura emanating from the cracks. The tremors ceased quickly, but the fleeing creatures did not stop, as a terrifying presence still lingered in the air, deliberately driving them away.

The sound of surging tides echoed, and a more terrifying phenomenon appeared. In the sky, a massive torrent dispersed the clouds, spreading across the heavens. Countless mortals who witnessed this scene prostrated themselves on the ground, trembling in fear. If this torrent fell, it would be an apocalyptic disaster.

"King of the Mountains, since you have awakened, why not show yourself?" The vast torrent swirled above the cracked mountains, and a grand voice, tinged with curiosity, reverberated.

"I still have beings on me. Give me a moment." A deep voice responded.

"They're just mortals who have lived and died for countless generations on you. You remain as merciful as ever," the Azure Wave Dragon King remarked, whether in admiration or sarcasm was unclear.

"Life, regardless of its strength, has the right to survive. I am merely allowing them some time." The Mountain King stated his view on life, neither sad nor happy. "What about you? Why have you stirred up the entire ocean? There's no need to go so overboard just to visit the Celestial Realm."

"We're going to trouble the Seraphim, so we must go all out!" In the mighty torrent, a dragon shadow surrounded by countless marine dragons flickered in and out of view.

"We're only asking for an explanation; there's no need for such a display. You're preparing for war."

"Without a show of strength, those birdmen won't take us Dragon Kings seriously. If even one of their kind dares to insult a Dragon King's descendant as a half-breed, imagine the attitudes of the elders."

"Don't escalate things into a war between the dragons and the Seraphim."

"Mountain King, are you afraid? If so, go back to sleep. I'll wake the others."

"As a Dragon King of the Earth Dragons, I have never retreated. You don't need to provoke me, Azure Wave Dragon King. If the Seraphim want war, I won't back down."

"Then come out. The mortals on you have already fled."

Boom! Boom! The mountains crumbled again, the earth shaking. Birds and beasts, already fleeing, ran even more frantically as dust and debris rose skyward.

Roar! A powerful dragon roar echoed through the heavens and earth, the pressure of a Dragon King spreading out. All living beings prostrated as a colossal dragon shadow ascended, blocking out the sun.

The Mountain King circled in the sky, shaking off the accumulated soil and rock. His long slumber had allowed layers of earth to build up on him. He remembered choosing a plain to sleep on, but his nature had transformed it into a mountain range over time. Even so, he had tried to restrain his power to avoid causing even more drastic changes.

"Let's go. The Starshine Dragon King is already waiting for us."

...

In the boundless void, a dragon shadow made purely of starlight circled continuously. Waiting was tedious, especially for the young and active Starshine Dragon King. He knew the newly ascended Golden Dragon King, Deimos, and naturally, Deimos had contacted him for this.

"You're slow!" A vast torrent approached, alongside a dragon resembling a living mountain. The Starshine Dragon King couldn't help but complain upon seeing them.

"Is it just the three of us?" The Azure Wave Dragon King asked in confusion. "No other Dragon Kings? Isn't this too few?"

"Aren't we enough? If too many of us go, the Seraphim might think we're starting a war." The Mountain King was calm. He had absolute confidence in his defensive abilities. Even if a battle erupted, he could hold his ground.

"Deimos only knows the three of us, so he only notified us. Let's go to the Celestial Realm!"

...

Bang! Muria's punch, imbued with tangible power, struck Elias's chest, shattering several ribs. Elias was sent flying, skidding along the ground, carving a deep trench.

"Get up, coward, and fight me!" Muria stepped towards the recovering Elias. His ankle was bound by a starry chain, not to seal his power, but merely to prevent escape.

After Muria had broken every bone in Elias's body, turning him into a wingless Seraphim, Elias no longer wanted to fight. He had even abandoned his spear, the Glorious Rainbow, trying to escape.

Muria had then bound him with a nebula chain and continued the beating. With legendary vitality and the ancient god bloodline, Muria was confident he wouldn't accidentally kill Elias.

"Should we stop this Titan? Isn't it wrong for him to beat up a Seraphim like this?" A female Angel of Holy Light cautiously suggested. She found the Seraphim's beating unbearable to watch.

"Didn't you hear what that Seraphim said when he first appeared? Such vile words, and he's weaker than the Titan. He brought this on himself."

"But he's still a Seraphim. Watch your words, lest someone hears."

"What are you afraid of? We are Angels of Holy Light from the Mount of Paradise, not his servile angels." A male Angel of Holy Light watched the beating with a strange satisfaction. The Seraphim was someone he would usually never see.

"Ling, what are those angels saying?" The Dragon Princess, excitedly watching Muria beat the Seraphim, noticed the murmuring angels summoned by her mage dragons.

"They're discussing whether to help the Seraphim." As an ancient dragon, Ling easily caught their mental conversation.

"Keep an eye on them. If they move, subdue them immediately."
