"Mr. Yang, I've brought the papers you asked for."
A high pitch female voice was heard.
Xia Lihua's jaw ticked. She recognized Lin Yueshi's voice all too well.
And soon enough Lin Yueshi strode into the dining hall with a neat stack of documents clutched in her hands. Her stride was confident, her gaze focused solely on Yang Lingyun—until her eyes finally landed on Xia Lihua.
For a brief moment, she looked as though she might actually have a stroke.
Xia Lihua's lips curled up.
Well, well—look who decided to show up.
Yang Lingyun's Personal Assistant who was all over him all the time.
Xia Lihua could almost predict her reaction.
"What is she doing here?" Lin Yueshi blurted out, pointing a finger in Xia Lihua's direction with a look of clear disdain.
But before Xia Lihua could answer, Yang Lingyun intervened, his voice sharp. "Watch your tone, Yueshi. She's Mrs. Yang now. Show her respect."
