Gu Sheng realized too late that he might have made the worst decision possible.
Yang Lingyun's eyes were fixed on the tablet and he watched every scene of Xia Lihua and Quan Kunjie on screen with unnerving intensity. His gaze grew darker and more brooding with each passing second, his jaw tightening to a near-breaking point.
"Wha...what's wrong?" Gu Sheng asked nervously as he saw that Yang Lingyun's face was pale, almost blue, as though suppressing a volcanic eruption. "You don't like the song?"
"Oh, I absolutely love the song, but..." Yang Lingyun shot him a murderous glare that sent Gu Sheng's heart into overdrive. "But why is she holding hands with him?"
Gu Sheng stiffened. Because that was the scene in the script? he thought helplessly but dared not voice. He had no answers that could placate his boss's evident jealousy, and he valued his life far too much.
