Three weeks later
The day had finally arrived for the filming of the reality show. Xia Lihua took a flight with Wang Nuozhi to a Southern town as Wang Nuozhi was also participating in the variety show and the first episode was being shot in village of Shuanglang, near Dali.After landing at the airport, they hopped onto a bus and travelled for another six hours before finally arriving at Shuanglang Village.
The production team had arranged for the participants to stay in traditional cottages made of mud bricks. As soon as they stepped inside, Wang Nuozhi wrinkled her nose at the faint, earthy odor that lingered in the air. "Do we really have to live here for two days?"
"It seems so," Xia Lihua replied, scanning the modest interior. It was not that the production budget was low, but in such a rural place fancy guest house was not an option, so they had to adjust.
Wang Nuozhi was just thankful that Xia Lihua was in this too. She couldn't have survived alone in such wilderness.
