(Third Person POV)
[Several Miles Outside Of Magnolia]
Erza's group had engaged with a large battalion of Alvarez soldiers as they had tried to made their way to Magnolia.
"Where's Gray?!" Erza yelled as she swung her sword at soldiers who stood in her way
Laxus shrugged as he punched some away, "No idea." He said, "Did we lose him on the run over here?"
Jellal who was firing off magic blasts looked back, "There's no way..." He said, "That bastard must've teleported back in and taken him!"
Erza scowled, "Are you serious!?" She exclaimed, "That's the last thing we need!!"
"Who the hell was he?" Laxus said as he blasted lightning at them, "What did he want with Gray?"
Jellal stayed quiet as he looked over at Ultear and Meredy who were also fighting soldiers off.
Kagura rushed through some with her blade as she sheathed, "Matters not." She said, "We need to find him after we get to Magnolia."
Erza nodded, "Agreed." She said, "There could be a fight at Magnolia and we don't even know it."
Laxus dodged projectiles, "Gramps could handle himself." He said, "But if the town is invaded by a whole army, it could be to much for even him."
As he said that, there was a stampede of soldiers running at them as they fired magic projectiles at them.
"Tch!" Erza said, "Laxus can you deal with that?"
Laxus nodded, "Yea." He said as he engulfed his fist in lightning
"Raging Bolt!!!"
He swung his fist downwards, firing off a massive sphere of lightning that struck the stampede and exploded violently.
Jellal jumped away from several magic blasts, "Guys." He said, "I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I sense an odd magic power coming from beneath the ground."
"What could possibly be next?" Ultear muttered
As the explosion of lightning subsided, several more soldiers pushed through and ran across the field they were standing on.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake and something burst from underneath the Alvarez soldiers. The group watched as a massive stone tower appeared from the ground, releasing an immense amount of magic power and sending several soldiers flying away.
"What is that?!" Erza exclaimed
At the base of the tower, all four walls were missing, only the corner pillars stood supporting the entire tower. Underneath and within the pillars, there was a massive suit of obsidian black armor that stood there, resting. Three distinct tubes connected to the back of the armor, a strange blue energy coursing through them and into the armor.
Everyone stopped at the appearance of this mysterious tower and the suit of armor. They looked at it with awe and surprise, confused at what it could possibly be.
"Uh..." Meredy said as she stared at this, "Guys, what do we do? What is that?"
Suddenly, the tubes disconnected from the armor as it jerked awake, grabbing a massive battle axe that laid on the side and immediately charged at the Alvarez Soldiers, swing said axe and cutting several in half.
Jellal raised his eyebrows, "Uhm..." He said, "That is indeed surprising.."
"Is it an ally?" Erza asked
"Whatever it is..." Kagura said, "It is certainly they're enemy."
They watched as the armor ran through the soldiers, cutting several with every swing it did. The magic blasts bounced off of it like it was impervious to it. The screams of the soldiers as the armor slaughtered the bunch were heard loudly.
They then heard a strange sound coming from above them.
"Yo!" They heard a voice call
Kagura looked up to see a strange airship hover above them, Jason looking down at them from the side window.
This was Jason atop an Apache Helicopter from his world.
"Get on!" Jason said
Suddenly, ropes dropped down from the side of the helicopter and all of them decided to climb up the rope and into the back of it.
As the entire group, with the exception of Gray, got on, Jason drove the Helicopter away and towards the sky.
"Jason!" Erza said as she walked to the cockpit and sat next to him, "Where were you!? We lost contact a long time ago!"
"Sorry." Jason said, "I got preoccupied. The ship was attacked by a fleet and a Shield. That and Erion was hurt badly."
As he said this, Kagura looked up and widened her eyes.
"What happened?" She asked as she looked into the cockpit, "Is he okay?!"
"He's fine." Jason said as he piloted the chopper
"Isn't it kinda cramped in here?" Laxus said
Jason looked back, seeing Jellal with Meredy and Ultear. He noticed Arania, Milliana, and Beth were also there. He made eye-contact with Laxus who's shoulder was being pressed against by Arania's back.
"Hm..." He said, "Where's Gray?"
Jellal looked at him, "Jason." He said, "This is bad....it's Silver..."
"Shit." He said, "That is not good at all....."
Erza looked at him, "Do you know who that was?" She asked
Jason nodded, "Silver, from Tartaros." He told her, "Long story. I'll tell you later. Anyways, I'll drop you at Magnolia, Natsu and Lucy are fighting a Shield. There's a wave of soldiers and ships attempting to invade the town again. I'm going to the North and handle the situation there."
Kagura nodded, "I'll join you." She said, "Erza and the rest can handle that, right?"
Erza nodded, "It's fine." She said, "Jason, what was that thing that popped out of the ground???"
Jason shrugged, "Rook Tower." He said, "It's one of mine. It'll defend this territory until it's destroyed."
"Oh." She said
"Anyways." Jason said, "We're gonna get busy soon...so...."
Kagura looked at him, "Jason." She said seriously, "When are you gonna tell her?"
Erza raised an eyebrow, "Tell me what?" She asked
"Uhm..." Jason said, "Later."
"You can't do that." Kagura said, "She deserves to know."
"Not now, Kagura." Jason said, "We'll talk about it later."
"We got pressing matter to attend to.."
