Ilsandra couldn't believe her eyes. There he was: Dagon, alive but certainly not well. She was shocked to find her former lover still on his feet. The last she had seen him, he was stone-cold dead. Although it was very plain to see that all of the scars he had endured were still very present, she still wondered how he could have been brought back under her nose like this.
He glowered at her and spoke with sinister tone that made it seem like he was a stranger in her once loved one's body. "Who are you and how have you escaped the castle?" He demanded as he stood up from his office desk chair and took calculated steps towards her.
She had no answer at first, for she was too perplexed. All she knew was her heart pounded and her brain made no sense.
How was this possible - and furthermore had Azrael really wanted power that badly that he coveted his own brother's bodies and reanimated them? Was it like this for all of them? Or had Azrael only brought back certain brothers?
