In front of us is tree in heights between twelve and thirteen meters. It's not as big as the ones in the forest he came in but what make this forest extremely disturbing is density. The tree so close to each other leaving no room for the light to shine through.
The bulk bald man lit his torch even though the sun is in its apex. Even in this dense forest they had found some trails and footprints that goes deeper through the forest.
"Hm... This is still new... But why is there a footprints if there's nothing that could soften the mud?" the man with long black hair question the two.
"Maybe because it rains" the bulk bald man replied.
"The last rain happened four days ago... But that will be an arguable statement. The forest is so dense that the light can even penetrate through trees. That would make the mud still soft even four days had passed" the man with long black hair then stand up.
"Lit out the torch we don't want to be discovered through the light that it gives" the man with long black hair ordered the bulk bald man.
*Well maybe this guy is some genius huh? Well as expected to a mage* Kea thought.
As they follow trails that left behind they find the den near the center of the forest in the north.
*So this is it huh?*
"Skill: Be One with the Shadows" the man in black cast a skill that make us invisible in the dark.
The den is near a small size cave that enveloped by shadows.
"Maybe the barbarians is learning to master the shadow" the mage said.
"Well they must be up to something shady inside that cave" the tank said it with the sense of disgrace.
*Well this den is quite something. Even if the entrance is tightly guarded up* Kea thought.
"But to think there's only two people guarding the entrance this will be piece of cake" the mage said.
"I don't think that's true" Kea inserts.
"Huh? Are you doubting me?" the mage ask Kea.
"No. But I think you should look up in the trees" Kea replied.
In the trees there are barbarians that is in standby. By the time the mage discover them his eyes couldn't believe it.
"W- Well my bad" he apologized but shrug it off to find any possible plan "S- So this is going to be the plan. Why not we wipe those who is in trees so that we could start entering the cave" the mage said but his tone is still had the hint that's his embarrassed.
With the skill still being active. They start to wipe out the barbarians in the trees.
*Well I could see those barbarians clearly as day* Kea though.
Back in the cabin with his master Felix. His first night.
*The sun is about to go down. I'm lucky that I'm still alive and well* he thought.
As the shadows risen up and the light goes out Kea had notice something. Everything around him seems bright, it does looks like the sun hasn't gone down at the first place.
"What the hell!" Kea shouts that echoes throughout the cabin.
"Ho ho what is happening?" the old man entered the room but as Kea looks at him he saw some kind of light around the man.
"Uh- Old man there's something around your body" Kea said pointing out towards the old man.
But the old man look around him and couldn't see a thing.
"Come on y-" Felix stop what his going to say as he looked at the eyes of Kea.
"Those eyes! It resembles the demon snake!"
