"Don't move," An Ziqi shouted, fighting through the pain in her abdomen.
"There's broken glass on the floor. Go change your shoes before you come in."
The slippers he was wearing made it easy for glass to pierce through.
But Xiao Moli paid no heed, striding in and lifting her into his arms.
What was the point of changing shoes at a time like this?
"Be careful," An Ziqi bit her teeth to remind him.
Xiao Moli carried her back and laid her on the hospital bed, sweating cold beads from the tension in just that short moment.

An Ziqi, on the other hand, was worried about his foot. She looked down and sure enough, saw a cut on his heel that was oozing blood. She pushed him in a frenzy.
"You should go see a doctor to treat your wound first."
"It's a minor injury; it's nothing. How are you?" Xiao Moli looked at her with immense tension.
"I might be going into labor. Go call the doctor," An Ziqi said through clenched teeth, clinging to his hand.
