Norris Moore had a few bites, then shook his head. Trenton Smith didn't push her to eat more; he walked over, opened the plastic bag containing the bread, and started eating it.
"Is this what you plan to have for dinner?"
Trenton sat on the couch, eyes downcast, "I'm not very hungry."
Norris Moore looked at his melancholic profile, "What's wrong?"
He didn't seem to be upset about her injury now.
Trenton shook his head, "It's nothing."
He seemed reluctant to talk more.
Norris Moore tilted her head and looked at his face as he silently finished a whole small loaf of bread. Trenton clapped his hands, stood up from the couch, and sat beside her on the bed, "Feeling sleepy? Shall I keep you company for a bit?"
