"Rivals in love have always been plenty." He lowered his head and cut his steak, counting for her, "Alex Miller, and all those male actors you've acted with and stirred up news headlines."
"Doesn't that mean I have more rivals than you do?"
Trenton Smith gave her a look, "Are you trying to dig up the past?"
Norris aggressively cut a piece of steak without a smile, "Do you want to dredge it up?"
"No way." He surrendered, pouring her a glass of red wine, "There's no need to dampen our appetites with unpleasant topics during dinner."
Norris Moore shot him a sidelong glance and huffed, lifting her hand to take a gentle sip of the red wine.
