"Who can't hold on any longer?" Anna Jadwin stretched lazily on the Velvet bed, feeling truly comfortable after a good sleep into the late morning.
Wayne Bailey's expression changed slightly as Wilfred left the room.
After closing the door, Wayne Bailey walked over and picked up Anna Jadwin who was trying to get out of bed. "Where are you going?"
"Is it still snowing outside?"
Wayne Bailey's face immediately darkened. "If you're worried about Charles Harrington, just say it. There's no need to beat around the bush with me!"

"The Blue Tourmaline has been found, and we are on the way to bring him back."
Anna Jadwin let out a sigh of relief. "Really?"
"What do you think?"
"But didn't you say... he was plotting to escape?"
Wayne Bailey pinched her nose and tugged at it. "He did want to escape, but my meticulous planning might have something to say about it!"
