Although she was awake, the heartache and pain from her dream spilled over into reality.
She couldn't stop crying, and the sadness almost drowned her.
Alexander Summers was startled awake, and upon noticing Purple Summers sobbing, he immediately asked, "What's wrong? Does your stomach hurt?"
"No," Purple Summers answered, shaking her head with a heavy nasal sound.
"No?" Alexander Summers held her tightly, wiping her tears away, "You're fine, so why are you crying? What happened?"
Purple Summers choked back her sobs to explain: "It's really nothing, just a bad dream."
Hearing this, Alexander Summers sighed deeply and said, "Since you got pregnant, you've cried more times than in the first twenty years of your life combined!"
"That's not true." With tears in her eyes, Purple Summers looked at him, "When you used to bully me, I cried a lot too!"
"Was that really bullying? That was love," Alexander Summers said.
Purple Summers cursed him, "Sick love!"
