Humanity was the protagonist of that epoch, and everyone knew it. At least those powerful enough to understand what an epoch meant.
This was not because humanity was the most powerful race in this epoch but because they were the ones to decide the end of the epoch and bring about a new age. They were imbued with the power of the heavens and the luck brought about by the myriad dao.
The Human Realm was not the largest realm in creation, but this did not matter since most of humanity lived in Tír na nÓg. This was not an issue. Tír na nÓg was akin to a different realm that was even larger than the Beast Realm, one of the largest realms in existence.
Inside Tír na nÓg, humanity could walk on their ancient path of cultivation that allowed them to reach beyond the Fifth Step. Even though there were a few hindrances on this path, most people in Tír na nÓg decided that it was better than being stuck in the Fifth Step for all their lives.
