I opened my eyes.
I touched the surface of my skin, soft, slippery and sticky.
My shirt was partially wet, and when I put my hand on my head, it was very warm. My ebony black hair strung to my face, imprinted on my neck and stuck to my back.
I sweated so much it could look as if I almost wet the bed; I quickly hurried to remove my shirt to remove the uncomfortably cold, wet feeling. I hurried into the shower. I stepped in hastily using lavender soap and rubbing on my body as I washed off the sweat that clung to my skin, like cleaning soot from a chimney.
I sweated so much it looked as if I had almost wet the bed!
The cold, wet feeling was unbearable, so I quickly hurried to remove my shirt. I rushed into the shower, stepping in hastily. The lavender soap felt soothing as I rubbed it on my body, washing off the sweat that clung to my skin like soot from a chimney. The warm water cascaded over me, washing away the discomfort and leaving me feeling refreshed.
