Quick Arrow Zone
"This is the Quick Arrow Zone—unlike the Slow Arrow Zone, the arrows here fly at extreme speeds, making them nearly impossible to block or evade," explained Sky Wind War Emperor as he pulled a crudely made wall from his spatial ring. "This wall is crafted from Yuan Magnetic Stone, a material so durable it can withstand the arrows in this zone."
"Was the person who made this wall out of their mind?" Yu Tian stared at the Yuan Magnetic Stone, which was merely fragments haphazardly glued together with an unknown adhesive. "Do you truly believe this adhesive won't fail?"
"It's embarrassing to admit, but the Four God's Countries lack the smithing prowess to properly work with Yuan Magnetic Stone," said the Black Iron King, flushing slightly. His kingdom specialized in blacksmithing, and he was the one who'd patched the stone fragments together this way.
"No matter. Bring out all the Yuan Magnetic Stone you have. I'll reshape it properly." Yu Tian sighed lightly and waved for them to produce their reserves. Though he'd never formally learned blacksmithing, molding stones into a wall wasn't difficult.
"Did you hear? His Majesty will assist us!" Sky Wind War Emperor glared at the surrounding crowd. "Hurry—bring every piece of Yuan Magnetic Stone you possess!"
THUNK!
THUNK!
THUNK!
At his command, the group promptly produced roughly four more walls of the same shoddy construction—apparently intending to build a cube around themselves to bypass the zone.
"Step back..." Yu Tian raised his hand, and white-and-black flames erupted from his palm, emitting a terrifying heat that made everyone sweat from just a single flicker.
'What kind of fire is this?! It's even more dreadful than the black flames of the Mystic Furnace!' Thought Luo Zheng, instinctively retreating and channeling his energy to shield himself.
"..." Deep in Luo Zheng's soul, the Green Dragon stared at the flames in Yu Tian's hand, while Nianyun beside him pondered: 'That fire... Is he a Yin-Yang Saint...?'
Yu Tian controlled the Primordial Flame, which took the form of Yin-Yang Twin Flames, and engulfed all the Yuan Magnetic Stone walls. The stones liquefied under the extreme heat before he reshaped them into new walls and cooled them instantly with Frozen End Divine Arts.
[Ding! Host has acquired a new skill: Blacksmithing (Lv1).]
"..." Yu Tian glanced at the system notification and, without hesitation, upgraded Blacksmithing to Lv10. His mind flooded with advanced smithing knowledge, revealing every flaw in his hastily made walls.
"These flames are astonishing..." muttered the Black Iron King, envy flashing in his eyes. As a master smith, his comprehension of fire laws was profound—yet no ordinary flame could compare to Yu Tian's. He noted how Yu Tian hadn't even bothered to remove impurities or reinforce joints, merely melting and recasting the stone.
Suddenly, the black-and-white flames surged again, swallowing the walls and reducing them to lava-like sludge. A black mist (impurities) seeped out as temperatures fluctuated wildly. Yu Tian reshaped the Yuan Magnetic Stone into a floorless house.
(⊙o⊙) — The Black Iron King's eyes bulged in shock. Moments ago, he'd privately criticized Yu Tian's lack of skill, jealous of his Primordial Flame. Now, he could only feel like a fool—Yu Tian's techniques surpassed his own by hundreds of times.
Yu Tian ignored the onlookers' thoughts and soon finished molding the stone, slamming it onto the ground with a resonant THUNK!
"This will ensure you cross the zone safely," he said indifferently. Truthfully, he cared little for the Four God's Countries' fate, but this aid was for Zhuqing and his companions—who stood no chance against the Dragon Vein Archer destined to appear due to Luo Zheng's karma.
Though he could protect Zhuqing, Yu Die, and Nianyun, he planned to use the others as bait to lure out the Evil Dragon, just as the Celestial Clan had in the original storyline.
Yu Tian was undeniably powerful—the Evil Dragon meant nothing to him—but caution was wise. He knew nothing of the dragon's lair or its dangers.
"Let's go. Stay inside these walls unless you wish to die," Yu Tian said flatly, though his mind raced: 'Could the Celestial Clan have some connection to me...?'
In his past life—before reincarnating as Yu Tian—he'd lived in the Apotheosis World for over 100 billion years. Sadly, not all memories of his life as Li Mo remained, but hearing "Celestial Clan" triggered a link: he'd once been a Celestial Devourer.
While his Celestial Devourer bloodline in this life evolved from the Ōtsutsuki lineage, there was no proof it had carried over. The system granted powers from his past lives, so it wasn't impossible he'd obtained this bloodline as Li Mo in this world.
The thought ignited a fierce desire to meet the Celestial Clan—they might hold valuable clues.
