" So this mysterious liquid flowing inside me is actually mana! " Katie thought
The idea of mana was not strange to her at all as she was an avid reader of fantasy novels and had read about mana or similar concepts dozens of times in her favorite novels. But, actually experiencing it for herself felt soo different than she had ever imagined. It felt like she had developed a sixth sense as she could always feel the flow of mana in her body. It wasn't distracting either, it just felt like a natural extension of her whole being.
The best way to describe it would be to say it's like breathing. You are always doing it in some extent, but once you focus on it you can control how you do it. Katie could also control her mana when she focused. She could do things like dictate where it flows, how fast and the amount that flows.
Katie was calmly lost in thought on the new power that she has just acquired. However the situation of the other people on the server was anything but calm!
" What is a ' Chaos fruit ' and how do I get that? I also want to use magic! "
" This is unfair! We didn't know that this game had secret achievements like this! Why does she get the benifit when we don't? "
" Forget all of that, I didn't even know that we had a power system (1) in this game. I'm kinda excited to experiment and find out new things after this, who knows maybe I will discover something that will also give me some awesome power! "
" I will get a reward if I contribute the most in the battle? Bring it on then, let me see who dares stand in my way! " One person vigorously said
" Hey bro didn't you almost die 3 separate times during the nighttime battle with the tribals? You sure you can contribute the most? " His friend mockingly asked

The viewers on BOXU'S, white jelly's and starkiller's stream were also in an uproar after seeing the message.
- DAMN! We will get to see more magic in the battle huh!
- I somehow expected this because we know the tribals can use magic , it would have been unfair to the players if they couldn't. I think just one person being able to use this is too limiting however... At least 3-4 people should have gotten it.
- Agree with guy above, but hey, 1 player is better than none I hadn't even considered the possibility. I agree more players would have been more balanced. It will definitely be exciting to see how Trevor uses Katie in the upcoming battle.
- I think we should wait and see how big the tribal force is before making assumptions. Who knows, maybe they will be small in number, enough to pose a real threat, but not enough to require multiple magic users.
- I don't care if it's fare or not, I Just wanna see some magic! BOXU please ask Katie to perform some spells for us.

- Jelly look, your out here dressing up for a fancy dress competition and the other group is out there discovering magic and shit.
- I think you should seriously consider joining the other group because this clown like makeup is not gonna save you my guy!
- Don't listen to the guys above Jelly! You should always follow your heart and what you think it right. Don't listen to the noise others make and focus on your work. If you did join the other group who will I laugh at?
- PFFFF! Ha ha. to the brother above you almost made me feel some remorse for jelly.
Jelly silently glanced at the comments from time to time, thinking if this embarrassment was worth it, But, when he saw the donations roll in, he didn't mind too much...
Trevor on the other hand had a small smile on his face but , because he rarely ever smiled his face looked a little bit off from his small smile. He was smiling because he had just acquired a new tool to use! He didn't yet know how to utilise Katie, but that didn't matter to him. Having something was better than not having it in the first place.
BOXU , Beresile, Danno , Bear ,Cap , Banjo and the other also the read the message in amazement.
Kirti was the first one to speak after reading.
" Can you really use magic? " She asked Kaite
Katie then slowly explained how she was felling the mana inside her own body. And How it seemed like a extension of her body and all.
" So can you manifest it? Like do you know how to use it? " BOXU curiously asked
Beresile, Cap and Katie were also wondering the same thing.She had wanted to try conjuring up the new energy, but had found herself explaining it to everyone.
After that Katie closed her eyes and relaxed her whole body. She took a deep, long breath. Feeling the liquid inside her body. She gradually adjusted the flow ,so that the liquid only flew to her right arm. She raised her right hand's palm, and at the same time increased the amount and speed of mana travelling to her right arm.
All of this just seemed to come naturally to her without needing an explanation, like it was just second nature to her.
Then Katie stopped the liquid from flowing back and forth between her heart and hand and gathered it all below her palm. Then she bit-by-bit pushed the liquid up from inside her body.
The onlookers matched in amazement as a bright, light blue energy started appearing in Katie's hand. The energy was in the shape of a sphere. Upon closer inspection one would notice that the sphere was actually made up of hundreds of smaller spheres. the size of the sphere kept on getting bigger and bigger by the second as Katie supplied it with more and more energy.
It grew and grew until it reached the size of a soccer ball. Katie slowly opened her eyes and she was surprised by the size of the ball.
" What should I do with this? " Katie suddenly asked
" What do mean? Didn't you make this knowing what to do? " Kirti asked
" No... I just did what I felt like... " Katie admitted
" Try throwing it... Towards that rock over there. " BOXU quickly instructed her.
Katie then pulled her right arm back, the sphere of mana moved with her hand. And then she quickly swiped her hand towards the rock. However the sphere just went along with her hand instead of being launched towards the rock. It almost looked like it was stuck to her hand by glue.
Katie didn't give up. She tried again and again, but nothing seemed to work out. The sphere was just stuck to her hand and wouldn't move away. Even an inch.
The other's gave Katie helpless gazes. Some even wanted to criticize her, believing they could handle mana better than her, but didn't say anything out loud. Others however felt how Katie was feeling. Getting a new awesome power that you don't know how to use , and having the pressure to show it infront of a group of people. It was probably really stressful for her!
Then suddenly Katie seemed to have realised something. What a dummy I am! She thought. She quickly closed her eyes again and began feeling the mana Inside her body. There she noticed the problem.
She had unconsciously been maintaining a very small stream of mana from inside her body to the sphere in her hand. This was not enough to increase the size of the sphere, but seemed to act like a rope binding the sphere to her palm. She after realising this quickly stopped all flow of mana from inside of her body to her hand.
She instantly felt the effectof this. She felt a little tired and light headed after removing the Removing mana from her body had caused this to happen. Katie realized that her body's energy was the cost for using mana. This sphere didn't greatly affect her, but she could tell using it multiple times would definitely make her exhausted and take a toll on her body.
She also felt that the sphere in her hand was almost weightless. Probably because it's a form of energy... Katie thought. Then without further thinking she looked at the rock , then at her sphere and once again threw it directly at the rock.
The bright blue sphere finally came out of her hand and flew directly towards the rock. A small blue light was cast on the rock before the sphere collided with it. BOOM! The rock along with some of it's surrounding were instantly destroyed in a bright blue explosion, as a loud explosion was heard by everyone present.
Small pebbles flew out from the destroyed rock and the grass near it had been burned to a light black.
1 - power system - It's like a set of rules on which a particular magic/power operates in a fantasy world. Here Mana is being referred to as a power system.

Hello everyone the author here!
This is kinda like a Author's thought.
I just wanna say that there will be many more ways the players will obtain powers and Mana is not the only way... I will obviously flesh power systems out as I go. Because I don't wanna introduce a cool power system and then leave all of you without any information on it.
