After sending Empress Dowager and the others away, Hua Yan was indeed tired, so she lay back down on the bed to sleep.
Sleeping until the evening, Hua Yan was awoken by a familiar and urgent set of footsteps entering the Phoenix Eastern Garden. Startled awake, she sat up and pushed aside the bed curtains.
