In the days following Gu Yu's parents' awakening, Gu Yu had been exceptionally busy. Every day he left early and returned late, and even when Tang Yuran asked about it, he just mentioned he was busy with the procedures for returning to the country.
Even though Tang Youran was quite perplexed, she simply nodded without asking further.
During those days, she spent her time chatting and talking with Gu Yu's parents, strolling back and forth in the room, quite enjoyably busy.
It wasn't until five days later, one evening, that Gu Yu hurried home, bearing the chill of the outside air. Seeing Tang Youran chatting with his mother, he walked over with a smile, reached out to touch her fluffy head, and said in a low voice, "Let's go to the room, I have a gift for you."
"What gift??" Tang Yuran asked, looking up at him puzzledly.
"You'll know when you get to the room." Gu Yu responded with a mysterious smile, then turned and walked toward the upstairs room.
