The newly formed beast man crowned the Sword King. Once loved he stands covered in gore and surrounded by dead knights. Same man who stood for chivalry and honor at some point in his reign. Even in those days he was loved. Throughout the challenge of the King's Test almost all deserved their fates. Their crimes were too much to sit by and let it go unpunished. But they were those who displayed their crimes out in the open for all to see. They had no thought in seeing the dangers in doing this. All king's that are hated are ones that will eventually die by the people they rule. But in the Dream Universe these checks and balances are kept by the World and their executioner.
Unlike his fellow kings the Sword King did his crimes in the shadows and even enslaved the people with a mark that fed him chi under the disguise of protection and citizenship. He ruled his capital with an iron fist. Majestic City stood as a lynch pin in all power of the Land of Chivalry. He was loved by all, feared by all, and more importantly relied on by all. He had power unlike any king before him using love to cover up force. But now he stood here covered in blood holding a corpse of a knight with his armor stained with crimson. Below his feet a pool had formed with dozens of knights. In his craze he had gone on a bender and no one could stop him. Bedlam Bow laid against a wall he had a cut above his eye and his bow clenched in his hands. He propped himself up and stared at the king. Corpses lay all around them. Fire Sword lay unconscious inside the home of a peasant. Thrown there by the king himself.
The king tossed the corpse down, and a guttural burp came from his throat. His body started to glow and his shape became more human with long hair and a feline face. His eyes glowing yellow as he became more slender and more beautiful the more all alive looked upon him. The armor formed into a more light armor covering his forearms, shoulders, and breastplate. The broad sword he picked up with ease and heaved it upon his back. He licked his lips under his lion head helmet. Lord Mills stumbled into view holding two swords, his clothes were ripped and he had a wound upon his stomach. He stared at the king with anger. "Come to your senses, your majesty! Please stop this madness!" The king then slumped onto a fence looking around at the dead he created. And he felt absolutely nothing. He felt disappointed at the army he created. They were not up to par in his eyes. He thought raising generations of knights he'd get a few diamonds. But he merely collected dust in these last hundred years. He looked around disappointed even the Silent Knight in front of him was a disappointment. His new Stoic Blade was a whining child; his brother was no better. For once he saw things more clearly and he did rely on one of subordinates and that was Con Man. The man with no soul who loved a good fight and scheme. They were more alike; he had been hiding all crimes from all even the Void King. Merely joining the Void Faction only seeing the benefits and uses. Now he needed to move against the Void King now he possessed the Nexus. All allies need to rally behind him to put a stop to this. Their last meeting discussing how to further go upon notes of the Smith greatly increased their power creating fusions with armor and beast souls. To fuse those with cultivators creating a hybrid. So far only a handful have survived. And two lay before him beaten when they faced armies individually. The Silent Knight leaned against the wall catching his breath. "I have truly been blind it took to see the world through the eyes of a beast to truly awaken. All of you. Every single one of you is nothing but a disappointment! Weak!" He stood up on the ground then started to shake as the city rumbled under each step. Pressure of chi spread out incapacitating all who could still stand. Only one unaffected was Con Man watching from a rooftop far from anyone's eyes.
"Damn. He has lost it, or like he said he's finally seeing reality as a struggle. Only those left standing are the worthy ones" he mumbled to himself. The king walked over to the downed Lord Mills. "Sire…the Blades serve you, we are the best of the best!" The king threw a fist at the old knight hitting him across the face. He fell to the ground, "No. I don't see it that way" he picked the old knight up by the neck wrapping his giant hand upon his shoulder and neck. "See none of you have truly been growing stronger. You all have plateaued only those who truly show me what they are made of! Come forth earn the right of a new era under my rule where man and beast will become one. Starting with you" he released the Silent Knight and let him stand on his own two feet. He swayed and then surged his internal chi as he attacked the king. This was now about true survival for the future he couldn't lose. He couldn't give up, he wanted to prove to this king he was worthy. Wind began to swirl around him as he created wind slashes, a whirlwind, and wind sprites that were glowing green.
His curved swords spun in his hands as he made another attack. Over and over he slashed at the king. He batted them away with his hands and vambraces. He drove a fist into Mill's stomach and with his long nails he slashed through his neck with a quick swipe. Mill's eyes opened wide as he looked around in shock as blood poured from his neck. He fell forward and then stumbled falling to his knees. "Sorry old friend. This is where I leave you behind" Mills faded quickly. Bedlam Bow got to his feet as his imp armor formed around him. He bounced off the wall shooting a giant arrow that then split into thousands. The king stared at the arrows with a cold stare. From his back he unsheathed his sword and swiped cutting through them all turning them to red particles. The imp wasn't done as his speed increased, shooting arrows after arrows. The king swiped them away and with ease. He stomped and the ground became lava as giant drops rose from it. With a swipe of his hand the lava drops shot at the imp jumping over head. He was struck with seven lava drops leaving giant holes through his body as he collapsed to the ground gasping for air. "You even went through the transformation and still squandered this power. I'll see what I can do with it" he reached down and impaled his stomach with his hand ripping through Bedlam Bow's body removing his soul core with a jerk. Bedlam Bow lay there lifeless as he blood poured from his wound. The king at his soul core and now had the abilities of the Bedlam Bow. He sheathed his sword and picked up the bow he held it to his side as he looked at Fire Sword who was struggling to stay standing. "Guess I'm next on your list huh!" She said, gripping her sword. She stepped toward him, stretching her sword and pointing it at the king. The king smiled, staring at the halo of chi swirling around her. She didn't seem to notice the ocean of chi inside her body. With the Mythical Beast she fused with endless manipulation of chi along with the element of Flame. "No see, you need guidance to push forward and I shall be your teacher. I can see that power behind your eyes ready to awaken" she went limp as her sword dropped from her hand as she then bowed. "Your majesty…I have lived my life as your sword and I want to be your sword and woman!" She smiled at him with a serious tone. "You truly are loyal, offering soul and flesh as if already mine. But you're wrong, you are you and the realm needs to meet the ultimate you from here on" he walked past her. "Now let's see if you're going to be alone in that training" she slumped down as she heard him walk away, his lion tail flicking behind him.
