Lucas Griffin was about to say something, yet he noticed Amanda Jenkins's wrist was somewhat reddened, as if it had been forcefully pinched by someone.
His brows furrowed abruptly, "What happened to your hand?"
Amanda Jenkins then realized her wrist was reddened—it indeed hurt a bit when Evelyn Crawford grabbed her, but she hadn't noticed it.
"Did Evelyn Crawford do this?" Lucas's expression turned cold, "What did she do to you?"
Amanda hurriedly explained, "She was suffering from drug addiction, it wasn't on purpose."
"What's the situation?"
"After my grandfather took her away, he injected her with drugs; he probably wanted to control her with it, so she would continue to work for him," said Amanda, "Now Evelyn is alone in there, I don't know what to do."
"I'll go take a look."
Lucas reached the door and pushed it open.
Amanda was frightened by the scene inside and gasped.
