Elly Campbell completely ignored the accusation that she had come knocking for a handout.
"Elly, you... stop spreading rumours here. I can't wait for grandpa to wake up, so you'll stop lording over us, evicting people whenever you please."
Elly Campbell couldn't be bothered to argue with Ivy Lentz. Her mouth was dry from arguing with Sophie Baker and the eccentrics from the Green Clan all evening.
She just wanted to rush back to her room and wait for her "island lord" to join her for a secret rendezvous.
"Well, I really am lording over things here and evicting people as I please."
Elly Campbell turned her gaze to Jane, who was caught in a dilemma in the living room, and said:
"Jane, why aren't you calling security to escort Mr. Lentz out?"
"Elly!"
Ivy Lentz hadn't expected Elly Campbell to be so overbearing and unreasonable.
"If you feel so aggrieved for Mr. Lentz, why don't you, as a dutiful daughter, join him and sleep on the streets?"
