"The farewell letter you wrote, no matter how many reasons it contained or how sentimental it was, I didn't read it nor do I want to," Catherine leaned forward slightly, her gaze oppressively fixed on Pannis as she spoke, "I know you had your reasons for doing this, and they were more than sufficient. I understand, and we all do, that you weren't trying to abandon us but were considering our well-being. We're very aware of that actually."
