Threefold attainment of the Tao leads to an immediate breakthrough to the Primordial Chaos 3rd Level. When Saints initially ascended, their cultivation level was also at this stage, not merely Primordial Chaos 1st Level.
Fourfold attainment of the Tao still places one at Primordial Chaos 3rd Level. Only after attaining the Tao five times can one step into Primordial Chaos 4th Level. To enter Primordial Chaos 5th Level, at least eight attunements are necessary.
Nine attainments represent the ultimate limit; however, even after nine times, one remains at Primordial Chaos 5th Level.
This means that Primordial Chaos 5th Level is the limit of breakthrough for Great Divine Transcendents, no matter how profound your accumulation, even breaking through to become a Daluo Jinxian of the Primordial peaks at the 5th Level.
