Chapter 4 - Victory
Vincent stood calmly in front of the cave entrance and bathed in the sun for a few minutes.
It was a long time since he had been to the surface, after all.
'I'm hungry, let's eat first.' He pulled out a cooked beef to fill his stomach and maxed out his saturation.
While eating, he sneaked a glance at his inventory.
It was filled with many ingots and minerals.
Inside his inventory he had 52 copper blocks, 20 iron blocks, 8 iron ingots, 2 copper ingots, 21 gold ingots, 1 emerald, 64 lapis lazuli, 10 coal blocks, 3 coals, 2 redstone blocks, 3 redstone dust and 6 diamonds.
Materializing an iron axe, Vincent began to cut the trees down.
It took only a few minutes, barely half an hour as he had replanted most of the oak saplings.
'Good, I restocked the logs, now I should be able to move comfortably.' He thought.
He started his journey to find a suitable place to build his house.
He passed through the plains and entered the taiga biome.
"Huh, I should take a few saplings with me, spruce are a great source of wood and also a good-looking building block." He muttered, he materialized the iron axe into his hand and cut the tree down.
He ended up with a stack of spruce logs and 24 spruce saplings.
On his way, he encountered a pale wolf, without much thought he tried to tame it.
Surprisingly, it only took 3 bones to get tamed.
"Good boy." He said as he patted the wolf's head.
'What should I name him? Hm… how about Ragnar? Decent enough.' He thought as he stared at the wolf.
He smiled, it was different from what used to be plastered on his face, it was warm.
"Your new name would be Ragnar." He said.
The wolf hearing its new name joyfully barked.
"I'm glad you liked it, boy!" He said.
Alongside his new companion he finally ended up in the desert.
'I'm glad there's no thirst mechanic in Minecraft.' He thought as he stared at the unusually intense sun.
Vincent stared into the distance and saw a desert temple hidden behind a sand mountain.
"Oh? What a great find~!" He muttered, he walked slowly to the temple.
It didn't take long as he with a torch in hand entered the desert temple.
"Empty." He commented as he observed the empty temple.
He then placed a torch to illuminate the room before patting Ragnar's head and making him sit.
The iron pickaxe materialized into his hand as he made a staircase down the secret room under the temple's floor.
He broke the pressure plate first.
He collected the loot.
He managed to acquire 17 sand, 4 emeralds, 17 rotten flesh, 23 bones, 1 enchanted golden apple, 8 gold ingots, 15 gunpowder, 2 saddles, 1 iron horse armor and 7 strings.
'Oh, a notch apple? Such luck I have!' He thought, he also quickly dug down and gathered the 9 tnt.
He continued his journey.
He ended up in a village in the plains biome that borders on snowy plains with a village in the middle.
Nearby also has a pillager outpost and a woodland mansion.
He quickly settled down in the village and then built his own humble house.
It was just a big wooden box next to each other.
'God, my building skill is terrible.' He thought, he looked at the building and compared it to what other people could do.
He chuckled at the thought.
"I'll upgrade it in the future, I just need to settle down for now." He said.
He planted 4 saplings in a 4x4 manner and it grew into a large spruce tree.
He then crafted a fletching table and searched for an unemployed villager.
He placed down the workstation and the unemployed villager quickly took the job.
He crafted over a stack of sticks to trade with the Fletcher villager.
He acquired 6 emeralds.
He grabbed his blast furnace and searched for another unemployed villager.
After a brief search and gathering, he managed to find two fletchers, two armorers, one weaponsmith, one toolsmith and one librarian.
He had traded with the fletchers for dozens of emeralds to be used for upgrading the other villagers' professions.
He built a massive 'mansion' for the villagers because he kinda felt bad for them.
'I couldn't even get myself to do anything to them like usual. Well, if I do that then I wouldn't be a normal guy, they looked similar to a human, it's strange but somehow not too much, I maybe just quick to adapt.' He thought as he finished building and he's currently cutting the tree again.
In no time, months have passed.
He upgraded the village's into a giant impenetrable fortress.
He was wearing shiny blue armor.
The villagers population had skyrocketed, which meant he had a bigger potential workforce.
After months of grinding, he managed to acquire a full-body diamond armor, all diamond tools except hoe and a totem of undying after exploring the woodland mansion.
It was tough but undoubtedly worth the trouble.
His arsenal was pretty much complete.
He's currently smelting something.
It was 32 pieces of ancient debris that equated to 32 pieces of Netherite scraps.
He managed to craft it into 8 netherite.
He then upgraded his equipment to netherite.
Now, he possessed full-body netherite armor, netherite sword, netherite pickaxe, netherite axe and netherite shovel while all of them are enchanted.
He then hopped on a minecart that he prepared to take him to the stronghold.
It doesn't seem to take long until he arrives in the portal room.
He materialized the last eye of ender and inserted the item into the portal frame.
The square portal began to rip apart space revealing an endless black void.
This is the portal to the End dimension.
He was fully prepared, he also brought 4 soul sand and 3 wither skeleton skulls to then fight a wither after slaying the dragon.
He dropped into the portal.
'It doesn't seem to be that bad, it seems that the training bears fruit as I managed to avoid getting sick from going through a portal after doing it enough times.' He thought as he threw an ender pearl to the main island.
The fight was fairly intense as Vincent was struggling with the knockback.
In a couple of minutes, he managed to destroy all the crystals and as he reached the dragon's bottom space and spammed the bed explosion.
It didn't take much effort.
He also then goes under the bedrock frame of the portal to terminate the wither.
Due to being stuck inside the bedrock, the wither was slain by a mortal with immense confidence and rage.
He acquired a nether star and the dragon egg.
Before returning he was able to search for an elytra.
He finally stepped into the portal.
He found himself in the warm embrace of his own home.
'I won, now should I play around in that world?' He thought as he stood up from his bed.
Suddenly a noise echoed inside his head.
[Ding!]
