As the chapter title suggests, I'm bringing this story to a close. Of course, it isn't truly complete yet.
This was the first proper fanfic I've written, and I have no intention of giving it a half-hearted ending — absolutely not. Over time, my motivation fluctuated heavily, leading to disrupted chapter releases or sometimes no updates at all. I can't promise that this will improve much in the next book either. I'm currently preparing for my A-Levels, and with exams approaching, updates will probably remain somewhat irregular. That said, I'll do my best to release the next book in a more structured way — keeping you informed if a chapter will be delayed and making up for missed chapters with double releases whenever possible.
But enough about that. My next book will follow a very similar story, continuing with Noctis, the main character from this book, and Elias, the protagonist of The Fox and The Nobody. However, I'm planning to diverge more boldly from canon this time. While writing both stories, I often found myself sticking too closely to the original plot, which ended up limiting my creative freedom. For the next book, there will be a lot more original twists and changes, though nothing too drastic.
