"What do you mean?" Nanny Sun placed a bowl of lean meat porridge into her hands and started scolding her seemingly out of nowhere, "What kind of person do you think your mom is? Oh, my daughter's in the hospital, and I'm off playing mahjong, am I even human?"
Little Qing felt embarrassed and retorted, "When I, um, hurt my back that time, didn't you still play mahjong?"
Nanny Sun shot her a stern glance, but then nonchalantly curled her lip.
"Your dad went in my stead today!"
"Cough!" Little Qing almost choked.
Seeing this, Nanny Sun quickly sat next to her and started patting her back, feeling a bit embarrassed as she said, "It's just Aunt Chen and those other ladies. They've won quite a bit of money from your mom. Your dad said that today he absolutely must avenge me and win back the money I lost!"
