In a dimly lit, dark environment illuminated only by candles, pools of blood reflected the faint glow of the flames. Arranged in order, the lit candles formed a circle, with a figure seated in the middle of what appeared to be a ritualistic circle.

Talismans scattered throughout the room pumped cursed energy, enough to envelop the entire space.

"..." The unknown figure resembled a man, his black hair pulled back giving him a rebellious appearance. His torso, covered by a white dress shirt, seemed to hide a strong physique.

The skin of his forearms was adorned with countless black tattoos, which appeared to extend to his cheek, each one interconnected.

With his eyes closed, he seemed to be in a deep meditative state, even though his forehead was perpetually furrowed. The blood, spread across the floor of the room, trembled as the man's brow twitched.

The talismans, previously intact, seemed to react to something, burning with cursed energy. The man, until then motionless, clenched his hands into fists, his eyes opening to reveal two red orbs glowing in the darkness of the room.

The blood, trembling uncontrollably, surprisingly rose into the air, exploding toward the wrists of the strange man, entering his bloodstream as if it were nothing out of the ordinary.

"He's coming."

Standing up at once, the man swung his arm, a chain of blood flying from his hand and wrapping around his forearm, hardening to resemble a whip.

Who was coming?

The sole source of all the misery in his life. The one who had not only tortured his beloved mother but also his cherished brothers. The target of their collective hatred.

They, who had been brought back into the world just to have a chance at revenge, turned toward the entrance of the room, the candles around them extinguishing as they began to move.

Two of his brothers had died because of the cruelty of the one who had defiled their mother. With their new bodies, they would not allow that to happen to their two remaining brothers.

They would end this once and for all.

Eradicating the embodiment of evil, Noritoshi Kamo.

"Don't worry, brothers.

We're on our way."

Tanshoku—that was the name given to them. A fusion of the remaining bodies of the Death Paintings, guided by a single purpose…

To protect their brothers… and to destroy the source of all evil, Kenjaku.

. . .

It had been an intense night, and Itadori felt it throughout his entire body. Having lost track of time after surpassing the third hour, seeing the light of dawn entering the room, he felt he might have overdone it a bit for a first time.

"Mm…"

But hearing a sleepy murmur, he turned to see Maki covered by the blanket, her hair disheveled due to the intensity of their earlier activities.

This brought a smile to his face. Perhaps they had overdone it a little, but he didn't regret a single moment.

"Ouch!" He flinched when a cold breeze hit his back, and he got up, moving toward a mirror, revealing numerous scratches on his back and bite marks on his shoulders. "Like a little cat…"

His face warmed slightly at the memories of the previous night, but he quickly shook off the thoughts as he turned to head to the bathroom with a yawn. "I don't think I've ever sweated this much in my life… I need a shower."

"You seem to have had fun."

"!"

Itadori was caught off guard by a new voice, turning to see a woman floating on the balcony of the room.

"Uro…" He said the name of the sorceress, remembering that she was supposed to be with them. "Did you… see everything?"

Uro, floating peacefully, grinned mischievously at the question, her tongue wetting her lips. "From start to finish."

"..."

This was strange. But he wouldn't judge others' fetishes… At least, he might feel a little offended at being the target of them.

"Right…" he said in an odd tone, and not caring that he was in his natural state, he continued on his way to the bathroom, ignoring Uro's gaze.

"What a lucky girl." Left alone with Maki, Uro murmured, her eyes turning to the bed as she noticed the girl stirring.

"Yuji…?" Maki, who had been sleeping until then, blinked sleepily, sitting up in bed.

"You had quite the wild night, girl. Sleep well?"

"Huh?" Maki was confused by the question, her eyes adjusting to reveal Uro staring at her with a mischievous grin. "..."

Maki's face slowly turned red, her hands moving to the sheet and pulling it up to cover herself.

"Haha! After what you two did last night, you're still shy about something?"

This only intensified her blush, her eyes narrowing as she responded in a venomous tone. "Shut up."

"Hahaha!" Uro, seeing her try to act tough even after hearing her scream all night, could only laugh.

"..."

With the exchange between the two outside, Itadori peacefully took his shower, ignoring them as he tried to keep his mind out of the gutter.

.

With the three of them outside the hotel, Maki helped Itadori change the bandages on his forearms, while Uro hovered above the street, scanning for any danger.

After their fight, Uro had become increasingly friendly. It was a bit strange, but Itadori didn't try to push her away. He really didn't care much about incarnated sorcerers, so as long as they were allies rather than enemies, Itadori wouldn't mind letting them roam around.

Besides, Uro was strong. If he hadn't caught her off guard with a precise strike, he was sure he would have had a harder time taking her down. Having her as backup in future battles would be a great addition.

"How are you feeling?" Finishing wrapping the bandages, Maki gently touched his forearm, checking for any signs of serious injury.

Itadori smiled at her care, and holding her hand, he grinned. "I'm great, and you?"

"..." A small blush spread across her face, her gaze shifting as she seemed hesitant. "My legs are a bit sore."

"Oh… I see." His smile wavered with a bit of nervousness. They had definitely overdone it.

"Hey!" Uro, who had landed nearby, called out, not caring about interrupting the moment between the two. "There's something strange going on."

Itadori narrowed his eyes at this. "What do you mean?"

Uro paused for a moment, her head tilting as she seemed to sense something. "I… feel a tremendous amount of cursed energy entering the barrier."

"!" Itadori was shocked by this information, immediately turning as he summoned Kogane, who appeared almost instantly. "Kogane, what's happening in the colonies?"

Kogane was silent for a moment, seemingly searching for information. "At this very moment, a large number of players are joining the colonies."

"How many?"

"Currently, in this colony alone, there are 400 players, and the number is increasing."

Itadori clenched his jaw, his brow furrowing in irritation as he pondered the situation.

He hadn't thought Kenjaku's operation would start so soon. Of course, he barely remembered exact dates, but he had believed it would take at least 2 or 3 more days before Kenjaku decided to attack.

But since that wasn't the case, he couldn't waste time. He had the chance to eliminate Kenjaku within his grasp, and he wouldn't let the opportunity slip away.

"Maki, I need you to observe these new players from a distance. This must all be part of Kenjaku's plan, so stay alert and don't let your guard down for a second." He turned to the sorceress with a serious expression, which made her immediately understand the gravity of the situation.

"Got it." She nodded. "Should I contact the others?"

"Only if possible." He replied before turning to Uro. "As for you, it'd be great to have some extra help…"

Uro, floating with her arms crossed, seemed to ponder for a moment before waving her hand dismissively. "Sure, sure… But keep that Fujiwara guy far away from me."

Itadori smiled at that. He didn't understand her hatred for Yuta, but he couldn't care less.

"Alright, I'll head to Jujutsu High to make sure everything's okay." He nodded.

But before he could leave, Maki suddenly pulled him in, capturing his lips in a long kiss, pulling away with a small blush as Itadori looked surprised.

"Be careful."

"..." His smile widened, and turning away, he waved. "I will."

Leaving his response hanging in the air, he disappeared in a trail of dust, Maki watching the spot where he had been for a few seconds before turning to go her own way.

"How cliché." Uro, floating beside her, said with a mocking tone.

"Shut up."
