For Phatom to raise his champions, they needed to create oppositions that would rise, and soon fall.
Within Dracula's mansion, they soon learn of the many powerful heroes who were raised by Fate and Destiny to grow strong, only to be trampled in the future.
But there were some who grew too strong and managed to slay the champion that was supposed to defeat them.
The first was the lord and maker of the Castle.
Vermidus Dracula, the first of the Draculas.
He was the challenger who defeated a Champion and took hold of the power to be a Necromancer of the light.
He had a son and a disciple. Both who had walked as Challengers. But discovering their Fates and the Destiny of death upon them, they fought and took advantage of their state which they soon learned to be a Challenger.
Xulamar was the disciple who followed and trained under Vermidus. And Xulamar later served the son when Vermidus died.
