Haru did not want to showcase Aki in any sort of negative light even it meant as portraying himself as a killer. But before he could complete the sentence and speak about Akio's death, Kuga stopped him.
He then said while shaking his head with a bitter smile, "Don't. Judging from your face, he must have met an end... Sorry, Haru, forget that I ever asked."
Haru was inwardly surprised as he expected someone like Kuga to immediately erupt in anger when talking about Akio, whom he was betrayed after facing the hidden personality and his evil plot within the walls of the fake shelter. But he immediately understood why; just like him, Kuga also did not want to speak or even think about someone like Akio again.
