In a small neighborhood, within a tightly sealed store, Haru and the others sat and laid. The windows and doors were blocked and covered as they huddled on the ground at the center, a lantern illuminating their faces.
Their expressions showed nothing but exhaustion—especially Haru, who, unlike the others, remained awake, keeping his eyes open and staying alert for any danger.
"Grrr…" Aki lay peacefully on his legs, using them as a lap pillow. She let out a cute cat-like purr as Haru gently combed her greyish hair.
