Jian Yufei's pupils contracted slightly.
His words reminded her of the days she had been imprisoned in the past, days when she was treated like an animal, trapped and confined. She couldn't possibly go through that again.
More importantly, she really didn't want to hate him.

Ruan Tianling's eyes were icy as he huffed coldly and released her neck.
