The light from the satellite circling a small, lonely planet in the Haverian System shone down on the planet below. The calm was soothing as the inhabitants craned their long necks as a greeting to one another. "Nacrati." They confidently said to each other, in greeting. They were unaware of the being lurking in the shadows beyond.
Green-gold eyes shone in the darkness. A smile crept across the face it which it belonged, slow and wide. The shadow moved in elegance, stealth, and deliberate motions. She would rather not alert the Yuan to her existence. Not yet. Soon. But, not yet. No, there was much more for her to do before she could begin to exact her revenge for her fallen comrade.
"A'grappa may have played his part a little too well, Marthukas." She whispered to herself. "But, isn't that what you'd hoped for?" And then, she was gone.
The Yuan continued about their night, no wiser to there having had been an interloper amongst them. No wiser of what was about to happen. The universe would be rocked once more. All the worlds would feel it. But, for now, there was peace.
