Vince's distraction activated, causing another loud explosion outside, shaking the building. The guards turned toward the noise, giving us the perfect opportunity.
"One, two, three!"
We dashed toward the window, adrenaline pumping through our veins. I reached it first, pulling myself up just in time to hear Beltran's enraged voice behind us.
"Don't let them escape!"
I scrambled through the opening, landing hard on the gravel outside, followed by Greg. We both hit the ground rolling, quickly getting to our feet.
"Let's go!" I shouted, and we took off running, dodging behind vehicles and crates as we made our way toward the alley.
"Where's Vince?" Greg panted as we sprinted down the narrow path.
"Still inside! He'll find his way," I assured him, pushing myself harder. We couldn't stop now—not after everything we'd done.
