Matthew tightened his grip on Conrad's neck, but before making a move, he felt a strange inscription on the floor. He looked down at it and sighed.
"Tsk, so you have that same inscription here." It was the inscription that revived people. In reality, this was a curse, one that his family created. Only now, they had corrupted it, and it was doing something against nature.

He created a small petal of ice and dropped it. It passed through the floor without problems and soon reached a dark basement, but it continued on its way. On the basement floor, it stopped when it found the inscription. Immediately afterward, the inscription froze and soon broke into pieces.
Because of that, a scandal ensued inside the building, but he ignored it and looked at Conrad again.
"Well, time to continue." Smiling, he squeezed Conrad's neck once more, and suddenly, Conrad began to feel a terrifying pain emerge from deep within his body.
