Matthew walked along the long corridors of the castle while considering several things. His long walk was in the direction of Emma's room
After talking to Charlotte about several important issues, he spoke to Alice, and now he was on his way to talk to Emma, as he had questions for her.
When he arrived at the room and thought about knocking on the door, it opened with its soft touch, showing that it was open, so he poked his head in. For a moment, he was stunned by what he saw.
Emma looked out from the balcony. She was wearing a long, black casual dress, the kind she wore to sleep in. Her long red hair waved in the gentle wind that hit her as she sipped some light wine.
Maybe she wanted to clear her mind, or perhaps it was a habit, but Matthew found this curious.
"It reminds me of the first time we talked alone," Matthew said as he came up behind her with a smile.
His voice caught Emma's attention, and she couldn't help but quickly turn to look at him.
