He Teng arrived early, but since he didn't want to disturb He Zhilan at work, he just parked the car at the entrance without going in to find her. He waited for her to come out before he finally called out to her, the little woman who hadn't noticed his presence at all.
"Where to? Didn't you see me here?" He Teng shoved his hands into his pockets and walked towards He Zhilan, nodded to her colleagues, and completely ignored Sister Lin's suggestive smile.
Like a Door God descending from the heavens, He Zhilan really hadn't noticed there was such a presence at the door. She chuckled and nodded, "Isn't it because I didn't see you? When did you arrive? Since you're here, why didn't you come in to find me?"
"Just got here a moment ago." He Teng touched his nose and specifically added, "I was out on an errand and just came to pick you up on the way, not specifically to pick you up."
