The vampire frowned, disliking the sight of the lady's figure adorned with a celestial aura that could rival his own. He could have easily killed Guin before, but now it wasn't so easy anymore. He was sure he had damaged the girl's mental state and suppressed the aura of the Goddess Wintermoon. No one was supposed to be able to destroy the trauma prison except Guin herself. Even so, he had planted such an unbreakable seed of fear that he was certain the girl would never find the center of the trauma prison, let alone destroy it.
How could she have done it? What could be wrong with his perfect plan?
"What? Cat got your tongue? You were so talkative before, so why are you hushed now?" Guin taunted, her expression scornful. "What did you say earlier? Out of a thousand challengers, only one managed to defeat you? I didn't know the number of challengers daring to face Hell Dream had reached a thousand. Isn't it only a dozen?"
