A/N: This chapter is written in the Third Person's POV style, this chapter is the flashback to the time that Adeline went back into her world.
Abelard ran as fast as he could while he heard the screaming voice of Haisley coming from Madeline's room, he was waiting for Lyle, he sent a letter to him containing what was happening inside of the Manor.
He heard Haisley crying and when he walked towards her, he saw that she was on the floor while Madeleine was unconscious in her arms. "What happened?" He asked and lifted Madeleine; he stopped walking.
He noticed that she was not breathing, it was like Abelard was struck and did not move an inch on where he was standing. "She... She is not... breathing!" Haisley said and started crying.
'Is she really dead?' what Abelard was on his mind. He cannot even understand if Madeline stops breathing for a moment, but he knows well that it is impossible for a person to be alive after stopping breathing.
