I entered the room, and a handsome redheaded man was processing documents.
"So you are Artorius. Nice to meet you. Aizen is my name."
He extended his hand, and I did the same, shaking his hand in the process.
"I called you here personally to make a formal request."
Formal request? I think it's where an adventurer gets a request from a certain individual.
"I see. May I know what type of request that is?"
"Ah yes. I saw the potions you made from Sistina. It was very high quality. 6 copper coins is really cheap for that quality, to be honest. I want to place a commission for you to make the potions."
"I see. Hmmm... If you provide the materials for brewing it, then I'll only do the labor. So how about 4 copper coins per bottle, as long as you provide the materials?"
Aizen puts his hand on his chin, thinking about it.
"Not going to lie, it sounds very cheap as well. Are you sure about that? That potion can sell for 15 copper coins each."
"Those potions are going to be used in the upcoming subjugation, right? So that means it will be used for emergencies. If my potions were able to save everybody, then I don't mind it being cheap."
Aizen widened his eyes and laughed softly.
"You sure are an interesting guy. Alright. 4 copper coins per bottle is the final price. I'll let Sistina write the formal request. Are you okay with that, Sistina?"
"Yes! I'll do it right now!"
Sistina said happily and went outside the office.
"Guild Master, where can I brew my potions?"
"There is a room besides this office. It's empty and quiet, so you'll be able to brew there in peace."
"Okay, I'll start right away."
I bid farewell to the Guild Master and headed to the room next to his office. It really was empty, huh... I got the beginner's pot from my [Inventory]. Sistina knocked on the door as I was preparing.
"Sir Artorius, here are the herbs."
"That's a lot of Dewgrasses. They're around a hundred?"
"Yes. They're a top priority since it will help injured adventurers."
"Alright. Thanks. I'll brew them now."
Sistina bowed and went back to the reception.
I need to make around 10 batches means I should make 200 of them. I should head to Nadia's shop to buy the vials. But should I also ask the Guild Master for permission? I mean, the guild is going to cover the cost, so... I guess I'll ask Sistina.
I went to the receptionist's desk, and Sistina greeted me immediately.
"Artorius? What's wrong?" She tilted her head after saying that.
"Er. Will the guild also cover the cost for the vials?"
"Yes. That is the case. Take this letter with you and go to Miss Nadia's shop. She'll know immediately. For now, you can buy up to 500 vials."
"Thank you, Sistina."
"See you later, Sir Artorius."
I went out of the guild to go to Nadia's shop.
"Oya? Art, welcome."
"Hello, Miss Nadia. I came to buy some vials."
"Alright. How many?"
"Around 500 of them."
"500?! That's a lot."
"Well... I received a formal request from the Guild Master to make potions. I need a lot of vials thanks to that. Here's the letter from the guild."
I gave her the letter that Sistina gave me. She read it thoroughly.
"I see... It's for the subjugation. Welp. I don't mind."
"Thank you for the cooperation."
"Alright, I'll get the vials. It will take a while, though."
"It's fine; I'll wait."
It took around 15 minutes since it will be around 25 boxes. After a while, she fully packed up 25 boxes of vials.
"Here you go. 25 boxes with 20 vials each."
"Thank you."
"Thank you as well. Come again if you need something."
"Yes. Thank you as well."
I came back to the Adventurer's Guild and started another potion brewing spree. I had around 400 mana now, so I could make 80 potions at once.
40 minutes had passed, and I made a lot of potions. Sistina knocked on the door.
"Sir Artorius. Are you doing fi... Huh?"
Sistina was surprised by the amount of potions I made.
"Yeah. I need to rest for a few hours so I can make another batch."
"That's impressive! Oh, I brought some snacks and tea."
"Oh. Thank you. I appreciate that."
Sistina smiled and gave the plate of tea cakes and tea to me.
"'I'll go now."
"Yes. Thank you for the snacks."
I ate the snacks quietly, and I was very impressed with how good they tasted.
After having a snack break, I decided to do physical training to increase my stats, primarily the strength and vitality stat.
Before I knew it, three hours had passed, and my mana gained around 250. I decided to make 2 more batches of the healing potions. In total, I made around 120 healing potions for today.
Sistina came back to check on me.
"Sir Artorius... That's a lot of potions you made."
"Well... I made around 120 healing potions.
"
"In a single day?! It's barely half the day, and you made this much?"
"Yes. Though I'll continue this tomorrow."
"Yeah. You should take a rest, Sir Artorius. I'll give you the commission fee now. I'll count the potions for confirmation."
Sistina counted the potions for a while.
"There are 120 potions here, as you've said. So the fee will be 480 copper coins. Please come with me to the reception."
I went to the reception to process the rewards. I got 4 silver coins and 80 copper coins as the rewards.
As I was putting the money on my [Inventory], the guild master came by.
"Artorius. How is the production going?"
"I finished around 120 healing potions."
The Guild Master widened his eyes and showed a hint of both surprise and anticipation.
"I see. Oh. I almost forgot; your quota is 200 healing potions and at atleast 40 of each other potion."
Hmm... So I need to brew 240 potions... I think I can reach it in around 2 days.
"The subjugation will be in four days, right?"
"Yeah. Feel free to make some extra as well."
"Alright. I have to go now, Guild Master."
"Yeah. See you tomorrow, young Art."
I went outside and headed back to the inn. After eating my dinner, I went to my room and checked the notifications.

Hmm... Alchemy leveled up, huh? Mana and magic-related skills also leveled up as well. But... What are these [Skill Stat Bonuses]?
Travy's voice echoed in my mind once more.
"Leveling up skills can give you a bonus stat boost in correspondence to its skill. For example, intelligence will be boosted when you level up magic and mana-related skills."
Does it only apply to passive skills? Or would it also work for active skills?
"It would work on both."
I guess I'll level my skills up if I have some free time. For now, I guess I'll rest since I'm so tired.
