Chapter 65 - Serulian Testament: Passage 1- Creation of the World

In a world in complete darkness, where nothing and everything existed. seven celestials were born from within.

Teru, celestial of earth

Falaz, celestial of fire

Hersa, celestial of air

Dwall, celestial of water

Felim, celestial of space

Gerna, celestial of time

Zelak, celestial of light

The world was nothing and felt too empty, even when the company of their kin.

Tired of this emptiness, both Gerna and Felim formed time and space.

they entire world flooding with a mash of colors the converged into a black void.

Inspired but this sudden act, Teru and Dwall formed a world of earth and water.

Falaz and Hersa, wanting to contribute, conjured their elements bringing forth warmth and breath to this newly created world.

Zelak watched in amazement, seeing a whole new perfect world created just before him

Despite this newfound world that was created, it was still devoid of something.

It was something the four celestials could not put their fingers on.

Zelak, found the world feeling empty, and lonely.

Realizing this he brought forth a potential solution.

Kelak gathered his fellow brother and sisters and spoke "My brethren, I know not how to conjure earth or fire, or how to move the space or time. But I do know that this world is still empty and devoid of light... I believe my light can help illuminate this world."

Kelak, shined a bright light before his six other celestial family, however it was only a flicker that quickly dispersed.

Falaz step up to Kelak, speaking his mind. "What would a mere flicker do brother Kelak?"

Falaz continued. "Where would you put such thing when the world has already been made? My fire would surely drown your light, as would the water and the earth. And wind is just a fleeting thing that it would be barely worth the effort."

Many of the celestials sided with Falaz, choosing to leave the world in it's darkness, claiming that the world should be left as it was born.

The four Celestials, Falaz, Dwall, Hersa, and Teru decreed the world as perfect, and to never change it, as everything was, as it should be.

Against the wishes of those other celestials however, Gerna and Felim offer Zelak a helping hand in secret.

They both saw the potential in Zelak's light and thus, guided him to the other side of the world, out of the prying eyes of the other celestials.

But like before, they too asked him where such a flicker would go, not knowing what to do with such a flicker.

Drifting his head to the space created above, he pointed to the dark sky above.

"The space above. There is not a more perfect place to put it." he decreed.

A flicker of doubt arose from within Zelak's heart, unsure if his light would be able to live at all in the skies above.

Gerna, with her gentle presence offered him comfort. "Do not worry. a mere flicker of you light is all I need to help."

Once more with great reluctance, Zelak presented the flicker to them.

In an instant, Gerna, with her control over time, froze the flicker at once.

And with the help of Felim, He took the light upon himself and with his control over space, delivered it straight to the sky.

The first star was born.

It's beauty was unlike anything Zelak had imagined, and gazed upon its magnificence.

He considered this light, to be his first son.

He reached out with wishes to embrace it, but as if bound through an infinite space, he couldn't.

Despite this obstacle, he didn't mind just gazing upon this small light in the sky.

But seeing that the star was by itself, it also brought Zelak great sadness.

How could he let his first born, a son that he created, stay in the sky alone.

With great humility he pleaded to both Gerna and Felim.

He wanted them to help him fill the sky with stars, to give a family to an otherwise lonely star.

Although hesitant at first, they ultimately agreed on the condition that the stars were to stay hidden from sight from the other celestials.

He agreed.

With great painstaking time and effort, they began to fill the skies little by little. slowly but surely the sky was filled with stars beyond even their imagination.

Soon the skies were lit, bringing some light to the land they once thought was perfect, revealing a truth to them.

Unlike the millions of stars that now filled the skies with hope. They, themselves, were alone.

They were surrounded by passive earth and water.

Even the winds sat still, and the fires kept in a constant heat. There was no life.

Just the unchanging world and the celestials.

"That's what was missing." Zelak had thought to himself. "A world with a spark of life."

Zelak, could not standby knowing how truly lifeless their world.

He gathered the other four Celestials explaining what had been missing from the world they proclaimed as perfect.

However, like last time they just waved him off.

They still could not understand how truly dead the world was.

They seemed content to live in a world of darkness.

Zelak turned to both Gerna and Felim with one final plead to them.

He pleaded to them to watch over all his sons for him.

But before they could answer, Zelak brought forth flickers of light, surrounding himself with flicker after flicker.

Using all the power he had; he banished himself from their world into the sky above.

Turning himself into a light so bright, it illuminated the world before all the celestials.

They now saw world so dead; it brought tears to their eyes.

Zelak had sacrificed his own body to bring new light to an otherwise dark world.

They now understood Zelak's words but had no Idea how to bring the so called life that he had proclaimed was missing.

Felim stepped forward. "Should you wish to create life, we must offer a part of our very being. That is the only way forward."

Gerna with her words, also spoke. "If we offer little parts of ourselves, we might yet bring life to this world."

All the celestials agreed to this.

Teru, offered the earth of his muscles.

Dwall, offered his veins of water

Falaz, gave the heat of his heart

And Hersa, had given the breath of life.

And with the help of both Gerna and Felim the crafted a being so great, that they only needed one last piece.

Both Gerna and Felim, secretly brought down a star, the first-born star created by Zelak.

With that one star, they gave him the flicker of life itself.

God Cassell was born.
