Chapter 135 - SShocking fight<a little cheesy :)>

Two days had passed.

The equipment we had thought of had already been created, along with various plans and strategies for combat.

At that moment, I received an alert:

Upon hearing the warning. Without hesitation, I touched the computer in front of me, activating the holographic interface, which projected multiple screens before me.

One screen displayed the energy distortion, another showed the geographical location, and the remaining ones played footage from security cameras and mobile phones.

The most striking image was that of a bluish figure that appeared and disappeared in an instant.

"It's him, isn't it?" Peter asked.

"I believe so. Let's go."

Without delay, we gathered our equipment, and I teleported us to a location near the disturbance.

Third-Person POV

An island in New York.

A massive electrical grid spanned the area, home to one of the city's largest power generators and distribution networks. It was generally not a place frequented by the public, as access was restricted. However, at that moment, panic had overtaken the workers.

Employees of the power grid were running in fear, their faces filled with dread. Some had injuries—cuts, bruises, even burn marks.

Nearby, guards and police officers were trying to calm and organize the crowd, but their own fear was evident as they glanced toward something—or someone—inside the plant.

"Do you think that thing is a mutant?" one officer asked his colleague as he instinctively took a step back.

"I can't say… It's unusual. It looks more like a creature made of pure energy than anything human."

"Tsk, who knows? The mutants I've heard about have such bizarre powers… it's not impossible." the officer said, his tone laced with subtle disdain.

His colleague shot him a glance but chose not to comment, thinking instead, "It doesn't matter. I just hope someone comes to handle this soon. And he needs to stop being so prejudiced against mutants. They're born that way and just try to live—just like my little nephew."

Suddenly, the lights in the area began flickering, and communication devices, along with other electronics, started malfunctioning due to interference.

Inside the Power Plant

A man—or rather, a being of pure electrical energy—stood at the core of the power plant, absorbing even more electricity. Arcs of lightning crackled around him, occasionally causing small explosions.

He murmured to himself, "This power… Yes, incredible. Soon, I will be like a god."

His eyes pulsed with immense electrical energy as he reveled in his newfound strength.

However, a voice interrupted his moment of self-admiration.

"A god, huh? I've seen a few. Not sure why you'd want to be one."

The electric entity stiffened, surprised. The voice was unfamiliar, but the unsettling sensation it carried reminded him of someone.

Before he could turn his head, a wave of cold swept through the area.

The space around him was suddenly encased in ice—vines, flowers, and bushes of frozen crystal sprouted, forming a frozen garden. Ice roses lunged toward his body.

Sensing the threat, his form dissolved into lightning, dodging the attack. But when he reappeared, he found himself struck by a massive spear of pure frozen magical energy.

"Ackk!" he cried out in pain.

The water in the ice dispersed part of his energy, while the magical cold directly disrupted his electrical form.

Enraged, he unleashed a surge of pure energy, shattering the ice attacks. His gaze locked onto his opponent—a man hovering in the air, surrounded by a mysterious, divine, and mystical mist.

"You again…" the electric entity growled before launching a barrage of energy attacks.

The floating man didn't even blink as a golden barrier formed around him.

"Of course, it's me. Who else would it be?" he replied calmly, bringing both hands in front of him.

"Ice Make: Chains of Frost."

A large, intricate magical circle materialized, releasing chains of living ice.

The electric being darted between lightning arcs, shattering the chains. Yet, with obsessive persistence, more kept forming and pursuing him.

"GET LOST!!"

His patience snapped. He unleashed an explosion of energy that obliterated all the chains and even destabilized the magical circle.

Disappearing in a flash, he reappeared before his opponent, landing a devastating blow of pure energy that sent him crashing into the ground with immense force. Without hesitation, he surged through the power lines, heading outside.

From within the crater, the protective energy sphere surrounding the floating man was covered in cracks—but they quickly mended themselves.

Seeing his enemy escape, the man furrowed his brows and shrouded his body in wind and divine light energy. Then, he moved at incredible speed in pursuit.

MC POV

After bombarding the energy-being with constant ice attacks, his irritation became evident. He vanished to the exterior, and I followed him, using my wind abilities and magical light energy. However, maintaining this form had drained a significant amount of my internal energy.

Emerging outside, my divine eyes and Haki traced his path, leading me to his exact location.

Amidst the metal structures of the power distribution grid, he continued absorbing more and more electricity. When he noticed me, his expression twisted into pure rage, his killing intent palpable.

"Now, you will witness the true face of a god!"

I rolled my eyes at his arrogance. Honestly, compared to Thor, he's weak… especially since he relies solely on raw electrical energy.

In an instant, his form expanded into a colossal figure.

His enormous hands, crackling with electricity, moved so fast that even I was momentarily surprised. They slammed into me, crushing me into the ground.

My Borg activated automatically, preventing severe injury, though it was significantly weakened.

Sensing the danger, my wand appeared in my left hand, and I cast a magical barrier spell, allowing my Borg to recover while I continued enduring his relentless strikes.

I didn't resist—I let him continue attacking. Instead, I changed my defensive approach.

Green mist swirled in my right hand, and my Wook materialized.

Infusing it with powerful mental energy, it expanded into a massive structure, enveloping me completely.

A divine barrier formed, alongside the protective presence of Wook itself. Like a turtle retreating into its shell, I remained hidden within.

Pouring even more mental energy into it, a projection of a divine black tortoise emerged, shielding me from his attacks.

"As I expected… The surge of power and his increased strength have made him reckless, lost in his own arrogance. Let him burn through his energy—it's no problem." I murmured.

The electric being continued launching devastating attacks, consuming more and more energy in his futile attempts to destroy me.

"He needs to remember—every being has limits. Soul, mind, and body. No one has infinite energy, especially someone who was just a normal human not long ago."

Meanwhile, unnoticed by him, a certain web-slinging figure was discreetly setting up equipment and preparing his own strategy.
