Chapter 145 - The fight of the giants.

Two days later…

We were leaving the place.

The captured traitors were taken by their own Immortal Cities to be punished. As for the outsiders, most of them were entrusted to Kunlun and the Immortal Crane City, considering they had the greatest capacity to intervene in the mortal world.

Of course, not everything went smoothly or quickly. Mother Crane tried to accuse me and put me under investigation. Honestly, it was funny when I saw her and some of her disciples.

They had various injuries and traces of ice on their bodies.

My ice creations had taken quite a beating, and I eventually dispelled them.

As for her accusations, I ignored them completely.

Mother Crane thought she had a chance to imprison me, but that would have been impossible—I would've escaped using Kai Kai if necessary. In the end, the Elder of that neutral field intervened, which silenced her, given his status and the respect he commanded.

I looked at him from a distance, and he gave me a simple nod.

In the end, our group left.

Outside that dimension, I took a deep breath and felt the energy of the world I was used to surrounding me. I moved my right and left hands. On one side, the force of the universe stirred, and on the other, dimensional energy transformed into magic or witchcraft. But soon, I lowered my hands.

"Immortal," came Danny's voice from the side.

I turned my eyes to him.

"Immortal, Colleen and I will part ways here. We intend to return to Kunlun and then travel around the world—both to grow stronger and investigate the organization that intervened and escalated the conflict."

I nodded. He had already informed me of this earlier.

I sensed that the Hand—or what was left of it—had played a role in this event. But someone else or something else had been involved too.

I gave them a soft smile.

"Our organization is always a home for you. Whether it's Luke, Daredevil, Spider-Man, Domino, or me."

Upon hearing this, he and Colleen smiled back.

"See you soon,"

I said, and without delay, used my divine Kai Kai power to return home.

Three days later.

I was out shopping—buying a beautiful pink orchid for decoration, a white one as a gift for Aunt May. I also bought cleaning supplies, ingredients, meats, and fruits.

I didn't shop in just one place, since I could store everything in my inventory without worry, as long as I changed locations.

While my errands were going smoothly, my Haki and senses warned me of something.

I quickly moved to a corner and stored the items, then focused on what was happening.

Using my Haki and divine eyes, I tried to identify the situation.

My Haki detected people screaming and running.

My divine eyes scanned the distance and saw military helicopters heading toward a specific area.

What shocked me was a massive piece of concrete flying toward one of the helicopters. That piqued my curiosity.

Entering an isolated area in a store, I put on my combat gear and activated my divine Leaf Sight. Then, I used the Apparition spell.

My body was enveloped in magical and spatial energy, and I vanished from the spot.

I reappeared atop a building and quickly used my wand to create an isolated, illusion-covered area. I also activated Zetsu.

Then, I watched the scene.

In addition to the approaching military helicopters, I saw several military vehicles full of soldiers moving in.

And the scene below caught my attention.

Two beings—creatures—were fighting.

One had tough, ugly skin, huge muscles, and gave off unstable, radiant, dangerous energy. Its appearance was grotesque—undeniably Abominable.

The other was a massive green man, also radiating similar energy, but somehow even more dangerous. He was brutal, destroying everything in his path while battling the other.

My Haki sensed deep rage from him, though he seemed to be trying—futilely—to control it.

I recognized him.

From a military file Anturian had sent me, the individual known as Hulk was the result of a failed experiment by the brilliant scientist Bruce Banner.

An experiment with Gamma radiation—mysterious, unstable, and even more powerful than that of nuclear plants.

Watching the two clash, I realized the fight was at a stalemate, though Hulk seemed to be losing ground.

Still, I didn't act. I had no ties to the military and preferred not to draw their attention—they're always troublesome.

Besides, I wanted to observe.

Using my eyes and Haki, I studied the peculiar Gamma energy, noticing its unstable mental effect.

But as the battle went on, I frowned.

Their strength kept increasing—like Berserker warriors—and the destruction grew worse by the second.

While debating whether to step in, my old friend System threw a mission at me.

Rolling my eyes at this classic plot device—something the author loves to toss in—I decided to read the description.

Mission: Gamma Giant Brawl

Objectives:

I) Prevent the giants from continuing to destroy the city (avoid killing them if possible).

Objective Reward: Martian Ship (DC)

Note: A hidden mission exists somewhere nearby… try to find it. Who knows what you'll uncover?

I wasn't surprised by the cliché nature of the objective. But the note left me speechless—there were no hints whatsoever, clearly just thrown in to mess with me.

Since I didn't know how to proceed, I focused on the objective and its reward, which interested me. It could help me and my team travel in the future—even to space. Although the ship lacked long-distance travel capabilities, it was still very useful.

With the mission accepted, I deployed my bees.

They would monitor the military and gather intel.

Then I jumped straight into the combat zone.

At that moment, the being I had dubbed Abomination was using a massive shard of stone to attack Hulk's head.

I teleported next to the green giant.

My Wook appeared in my right hand, charged with inner energy and mental power, and I fired it at Abomination.

The monster was launched dozens of meters away, unable to move.

In addition to throwing him back, I touched his arm with my left hand.

Secretly, I used a paralysis seal on him to hinder his movements for a few minutes.

Then, I turned to the green giant beside me.

I saw rage and mentally unstable energy swirling in his eyes—he was on the verge of losing all rationality, which would only hinder the fight.

For me, it was better to support the green giant.

He glared at me, seemingly ready to swat me away.

"Who are you—" he roared, spitting, nearly hitting me.

I touched his head directly.

A divine beast's roar echoed in my mental sea.

I used Demonic Tuner techniques, along with HP and Fuinjutsu skills, to stabilize his mind and calm his emotions.

I also channeled the calm, sleepy nature of the divine turtle to soothe him.

Inside his mental sea, I saw a massive green being, a normal man who looked overwhelmed, and most frightening of all, a colossal green energy trying to take control of them both.

I saw clarity return to his eyes.

Through them, I sensed both the man and the giant looking directly at me.

From this, I realized they were two souls—distinct, yet part of the same being.

I narrowed my eyes but had to redirect my focus.

Behind me, a loud roar erupted.

A car flew toward me, aiming to crush me.

I raised my hand—the car stopped mid-air. With a flick, I redirected it safely to my side.

"Mr. Hulk and Mr. Banner, I believe we can collaborate. If you help me restrain that guy, I can get you out of here without military interference. I might even help with your… identity situation."

Of course, I doubted I could fix that issue completely—I lacked many soul-specific techniques—but I could help calm the mental sea and maybe get them to cooperate.

"Hulk understands. Hulk will help," he replied.

I smiled with satisfaction.

The Abomination was rushing toward me.

With a closed fist, I punched forward, infusing magic into the strike.

A glowing blue magic circle appeared before my hand.

"Ice Make: Ice Fist."

A massive ice fist formed and slammed into the enemy.

The construct shattered, but my left hand was already moving—forming a massive sphere of light. With a flick, I launched the attack.

This time, the enemy was pushed back by the light—but with brute strength, he shattered the sphere.

That was enough.

Hulk, now recovered, leaped high and crashed directly onto the enemy.

I clapped my hands, while Borg shielded me from the shockwaves.

To defeat this foe, I planned to seal his strength and let Hulk pummel him into the ground.
