Chapter 447 - Chapter 447

6 a.m.

Dak pursed his lips as he looked at the Luxury Ball in his hand.

The Queen of the Water Elementals had now officially been recruited into the Pokémon Alliance and had become one of his Pokémon.

Not only that, Sharasa had also agreed to take him to seek out the other three Elemental Kings.

And after some deeper understanding—

Dak realized that the status of these Elemental Kings was actually quite high. While they might not compare to Tier 1 Legendary Pokémon from the Pokémon world, they were certainly not inferior to Tier 2 Legendaries.

These Elemental Kings possessed the power to control their respective elements across the entire world, and with enough time, they could reshape the world itself.

Though the process would be slow.

But for elementals with no concept of mortality, time was the least valuable resource.

The "authority" held by the four Elemental Kings could be considered equivalent to that of the Legendary Beasts, Legendary Birds, or the Legendary Titans.

However, in terms of direct combat strength, the four Elemental Kings were more restricted by environmental conditions compared to Tier 2 Legendaries.

For instance—

If the battle took place at sea, then only Suicune could barely hold its own against Sharasa—and even then, just barely.

But if the battle happened on arid land, Sharasa would be the weakest among them—possibly unable to defeat even a typical pseudo-Elite-level Pokémon—while Suicune would still retain formidable strength.

All things considered, Dak believed the Four Elemental Kings were still immensely powerful.

Because…

They were immortal.

As long as the world still had wind, fire, water, and earth, they could always be reborn and continue to exist.

Their nature was akin to the Tailed Beasts from the Ninja World—even if killed, they would revive after a few years.

And the best way to deal with them? Just like the Tailed Beasts—seal them.

Maybe these elementals really could be sealed inside human bodies, creating "Elemental Jinchūriki."

But Dak had no intention of conducting such inhumane experiments.

Even the Tailed Beasts were released and allowed freedom—how could he possibly turn against the Four Elemental Clans?

Dak promised Sharasa that he would set aside an area rich in water elements for her on Pokémon Island, allowing her to grow her clan's strength.

And of course, this was something Dak was very happy to see.

Because with that, the number of "Water Element" type Pokémon would increase—eventually becoming a signature species of Pokémon Island.

Like how Rattata and Pidgey were in Kanto, Zigzagoon and Wurmple in Hoenn, and Bidoof and Starly in Sinnoh—

Plop.

As footsteps sounded behind him, Dak placed the Luxury Ball back on his belt.

"Not going to sleep a little longer? It's still early."

Without turning around, Dak calmly stared ahead.

The village that had once been submerged by the lake was now exposed.

A thin layer of water still covered the ground—about twenty centimeters deep—but it was no longer enough to hinder the carriage's movement.

"Morning training."

Agnès's voice sounded full of energy.

Apparently, less than three hours of rest had fully restored her strength. Such quality sleep was likely cultivated during her years in the military.

"I'm heading to the carriage for a nap. Just depart when it's time—no need to wake me."

Dak stretched lazily and made his way toward the carriage to rest.

However, just as he entered the carriage, a door opened in mid-air.

Dak's real body stepped out.

He had already switched with his clone from Albion earlier—there was no way he'd let his true body waste that much time on the road.

"So exhausted. Hurry up and switch—my butt's about to get hemorrhoids."

Clone Dak yawned and tossed the Luxury Ball from his waist to the real Dak.

Biu~

The clone dispersed, and Dak absorbed all the memories from the journey.

"Whoa, already found the second Elemental King?"

Dak looked at the Luxury Ball in his hand and grinned.

At this point, not counting the one in his hand, there were already four Luxury Balls hanging from his belt.

Three of them contained Lapras, Ho-Oh, and Tyranitar.

And the remaining one?

That was his unexpected gain in Albion.

When the group departed from Tristain Magic Academy,

Dak's real body had traveled to Albion and switched with the clone stationed there to get an update on the civil war's progress.

Prince Wales, under the dragon's guidance, had begun to rally nobles from all over—promising grand visions of a beautiful future, spreading royal legitimacy...

At first, his rhetoric was clumsy, and few nobles were willing to follow him.

But now, the situation had changed.

Three to five noble houses in Albion had pledged support for Wales's return to the throne.

Though the number was small, these houses were all dukes and marquises—major nobles holding a third of the total noble power.

Having served the Tudor royal family for millennia, their loyalty still held some weight.

Besides, who knew if the new king would purge the old ministers once he took the throne?

If the Tudors hadn't been so terrible before, there wouldn't have been a rebellion in the first place.

Those who supported wiping out the Tudors were mainly low- to mid-level nobles—dissatisfied with their current status and hoping to rise.

Though more numerous, they held less power—altogether only another third.

The remaining third consisted of undecided nobles.

Most were marquises and earls, seeing both benefits and drawbacks on either side—hesitant, waiting it out in neutrality.

Compared to before, this was a major improvement.

Wales had once been surrounded by enemies in Albion, with nowhere to hide.

And now, having made this much progress, Wales deeply admired and respected his mentor—the Dragon—especially in terms of strength.

The Dragon's main focus was on training Wales's close combat abilities and physical conditioning.

As a royal, his odds of being assassinated were much higher than others.

If his melee skills didn't improve, he'd have a high chance of dying early.

As for wind magic?

It wasn't like the Dragon couldn't teach it.

He was a Devil Fruit user—specifically one with control over wind via the Storm-Storm Fruit. No one was better suited to teach the use of wind.

But he didn't really understand magic, and teaching it was troublesome.

He also had no particular interest in studying it.

At first, he was curious about this new power, but after seeing all the limitations of magic, he lost interest.

As a result, Wales was gradually trained into a close-combat wind mage.

His primary weapon was a sword, and wind magic became a supportive ability for melee combat.

Dak had gone to Albion not just to check progress but for one other reason—

To give Wales a Pokémon egg to raise.

After Albion's issue was resolved, he planned to give Pokémon eggs to Henrietta and Tabitha as well.

Once the monarchs of all major kingdoms had Pokémon at their side, there would be no obstacles to spreading Pokémon culture throughout the world.

In this world, commoners blindly worshipped the nobles—especially royalty.

Originally, Dak had planned to relax after handing over the egg. But he kept feeling like something unseen was watching him from above.

Using Aura to investigate, he discovered the presence of the King of Wind.

Iras.

That was the name of the King of Wind.

In appearance, she was extremely similar to Sharasa—almost like they had come from the same mold.

At first, Dak didn't realize this. He thought that was just how Iras looked—until he retrieved the clone's memories and noticed something was off.

Iras and Sharasa were probably both mimicking someone else's appearance.

And as for who that person was—

Dak could only guess it was Brimir, the founder of magic.

Brimir might've been the first human to interact with the Four Elemental Kings, and so after seeing him, the Elemental Kings unconsciously modeled their appearance after him.

Unlike the cautious Sharasa—

Iras was lively and curious, constantly trying new things and testing Dak's strength.

Naturally, after getting beaten up a few times, she became obedient.

Later, when Dak invited her to Pokémon Island, she agreed without hesitation and didn't even ask for any terms.

In terms of personality, Iras was more masculine, but in appearance, she still looked female.

From Iras, Dak also learned about the other Elemental Kings.

The four Elemental Kings looked quite similar, with only subtle differences due to their elements and personalities.

For example—

The King of Fire was hot-tempered, with her chest often ablaze—so her bust looked slightly larger than the others.

The King of Earth was sturdy and composed—like an immovable Buddha—with thick thighs and full hips.

The King of Wind had a slender, elongated figure with well-defined lines.

And the Queen of Water? Only two words could describe her—smooth and juicy.

Through Iras, Dak also learned where the other two Elemental Kings resided.

Since Iras was a restless wanderer with the best mobility, she often visited the other Elemental territories.

The King of Fire lived in the far southwest, beyond Germania.

The King of Earth lived in the desert in the central-west of the continent—together with the Elves.

That's right.

In the Zero no Tsukaima world, Elves didn't live in forests—they lived in the desert.

Their entire race consisted only of women, and they had guarded the "Holy Land" for generations.

After learning all this, Dak had no intention of staying in Albion any longer.

With Dragon and the Grefg Army there, everything would be fine. The civil war in Albion still seemed a bit immature in Dragon's eyes.

Now, Dak's real body was preparing to go search for the remaining two Elemental Kings and bring them to live on Pokémon Island.
